This is the first gun for COR =/ odd that SE didnt give us a hexagun at lvl 1 or something, but that "forgotten hexagun" must be for AF1 when they release it I suppose.
I'm not sure if the smithing requirement is actually lvl 47. My bonecraft was 47 and smithing 43 when I started synthing these. I've done 18 synths and gained about 1.5+ levels to bonecraft, but not received even a .1 to smithing. I've successfully made 15/18 synths of this recipe. I think I would have gotten at least a .1 to smithing if the requirement was really lvl 47.
i bought this gun for 15k at the AH and trust me its not worth buying a gun until your lvl 22 and can use regular bullets just stick with crossbows its a lot cheaper
ok, just wanted to clear things up for people looking for ACTUAL info in guns in general...
GUns may not look like they do much damage, but in truth, the damage really comes from the bullets, not the gun
At higher levels, the silver bullets do 80 damage, and you add that to the gun at that level (I think its 35 damage) your looking at the most damaging weapon in the game
Crafting wise, im not sure of this gun can be crafted, but most guns are crafted with Smithing or Goldsmithing or Alchemy
Where can you buy this Gun? Also what is the Recipe for it? There is a Bandit's Gun +1 so what is the recipe? Please :)
Also WTF is up with the post below. Who give a fart what the gun looks like. If it looked so cool but only did 1 damage would you use it? If it looked like a gun for a "Fairy" but did 200 damage would you not use it? DUH. What an idiot...oops did I say that outloud.
If you truly on wear or use gear for it's damage or appearance value alone you wouldn't see Dragoons wearing their AF once they got it. I have to admit I have seen a rising trend in DRG's wearing the scorpion harness, but the fact remains if you have the money to indulge you wear what makes you look cool with the benefits of it's bonuses. I bought this gun sheerly to have a gun, yeah, I guess I'm an idiot, but make sure you tell every dragoon out there that they are an idiot as well.

In general, they are just a huge waste of money unless you can build your own supplies. You eat money using bows and crossbows, but even more w/ this, since the bullets are such a high lvl component. I guess high attack has its price though.
I would like to know where this is sold or dropped, wouldn't want to pay 15k+ just to raise skill, i know that bullets cost alot, but its a whole different issue.
If you're buying this to raise skill I would advise against doing so... you'd be way better off cost-wise to just go war, drk, or rng for a while and get a really cheap crossbow and 5 gil bolts. You won't believe how fast you chew up ammo trying to raise skill until you actually do it and a 5-9k stack of bullets compared to a 500 gil stack of crossbow bolts.... well its your money
It seems not powerful, until you reach L22 and put a bullet in it. The bronze bullets suck compared to a crossbow, but at L22 regular bullets increase your damage by 10fold
