maybe im synthing the wrong thing... but when i got a HQ it was for only 8...NQ is 6 wth.... so this is laborous for us Alchemysts to get a sellable product... this is one of the things that we look for to Make a PRofiT on... please keep the prices decent If you are gonna ruin the auction houses' prices...dont !! sell it to a woodworking friend

dude this is ridiculus...the price of a stack of acid bolt heads WERE around 13k when stacks were 12...now that they increased to 99...i can't even afford a stack at all b/c it's now 250k gil a stack...really ridiculus...tryin to get woodworking up and it's not working out...i bought a stack of holy bolt heads b4 the update for 5k for 12 but i don't think i'm gonna b able to afford any more bolt heads to make bolts nemore >.<
Just so you know, they are still made 6 at a time NQ, not 33....That might be why price is so high
I uselay have a friend synth these for me, cost of material to synth is well under 5k a stack, but at AH they go for 12k on catsith server. eak, then i finish off the synth into acid bolts, (4 stacks of 99) materal cost after bolt heads is just over 8k, that makes a total of 3,200 a stack of 99, at AH a stack of 99 STARTS at 5.5k and gets upto 7.5k. the price of 3.2k is if you buy all the material from AH, i usaly end up with animal glue all the time from doing other things, also can make my own ingont for only 200, pluss crystals, i always have. so my usal cost is for a stack off 99 is only 2,100 a stack. i could sale these to make a profit but need them more than the gils. lol

I found this item using scavenge in the Bubu side of the maze of shakhrami where the gob smithy's are.
These go for 7-8k a stack on Valefor. The price is really a reflection of the demand for acid bolts, rather than the cost of the ingredients.

How much do these things run for on AH?
ok after a day of working on Smithing im now at 8 Smithing and I can now make these and I gain when I suceed. I tried making them at 6 and at 7 smithing with no luck I believe the MINIMUM Smithing skill is 8 to make these and im guessing it will cap at 14 like bronze boltheads.

Tried to make these today.
50 Alchemy
1 smithing
20 goldsmithing
59 woodworking
result
failed 6 times in a row.
I believe these are much higer level than stated.

I think the reason for the failure is your Smithing score: 13 below par. Beef up Smithing a bit, I'd say 8 minimum, and see if that doesn't help things

Arrowheads/Boltheads are made with wind crystals.
Acid weapons are made with Vitriol and Animal Glue.
The recipe for these is probably around Alchemy level 40. My guess would be Wind crystal, 1x Vitriol, 1x Animal Glue, and 1x Bronze Ingot.

I just confirmed that this is a recipe, probably for this item. I tried it as a level 30 Alchemist, and failed.

I really hate to post messages without any actual facts to back it up, but if I had any Alchemy skill, I'd try something along the lines of:
1 Earth Crystal (Water ? don't think so)
1 Vitriol (based on the Acid Dagger recipe)
1 Bronze Bolthead
Kaorih, Would-be Ranger, Garuda server
