Tribunus VII-I is soloable by a 75DRG/37WHM. I fed him about 4 Pentas at least. He has a lot of HP lol.

so down there looking for my AF legs for my weird SAM and see a ??? <.< wondering what it is i pop it and got this "tag" now anyone know where i should throw this peice of crap or is it used for something?

When I saw 8 drops from this ******* I was like sweet it had to have dropped axe. Checked my newly aquired items, and a bunch of ore, no axe d'oh >.<
Well if there is a plus to being 0/4 he has dropped four adman ingots, which on my server go for 100k each, so not a bad night.

camp this like a nm.. dam thing like's to move.. saw it in the corner of one of the hole rooms.. got like 3 feet from it.. bam, gone.. > < this area is non aggro @ 70. otherwise oils/sneak will be needed..

I tried to get this for a several hours on saturday. I found my item for Tele-Altep quest, but no luck with the tag. Somebody found it at the Centurio spot while I was there, but I don't know if that's the only place it spawns.
I tried all the ??? locations that I saw, the first was the quest item, and the rest said whatever fell there was already picked up. I camped the Centurio spot for a few hours with no ??? spawn there.

I found the ??? while skilling up/trying to spawn the Centurio X-I. We were there waiting for people to join up to do the Titan Prime battle. It was in the corner of the room where the NM spawns, on the side where you go into the tunnel to get to the cloister. G-10 Hope this helps.

This same exact thing happened to me. Was camping Centurio-XI and saw the ??? near one of the rocks. Clicked on it but didn't know what it was for. I have it now, so uh what's it for? XD

What is the "Antican Tag" for anyways?

I've spent an entire week looking for this ??? and it doesn't really matter where you zone into Quicksand Caves from East Altepa. There are only 2 maps of Quicksand Caves zoning into it from East Aletpa. I know where the Shaman's Cloak NM spawns, I know where the Loxley bow NM spawns, I know where coffer chest spawns, teleport-Altep scroll ??? spawns, I know where to go to fight Titan is, I know where Sandy Mission 8.1 is, the works. I have NEVER seen the ??? for the antican tag. I live in Quicksand Caves and have yet to see it. No one is in the zone, just me most the time too. Please someone help me. >.<

Just found the ??? darksday noon vana time. Entered from J-7 east altep, left at 1st drop off, was on way to 2nd drop off (for cloister) and saw ??? in the large room G-10

I was camping the Shaman's Cloak NM for my friend, when he said "Is it just me or did I just see a ??? o_O?". Well a bit later, in the same spot, I saw the ??? and got the Antican Tag. ^^ So it looks like it isn't in one spot long. =/

I've tried so many days to get this thing. I've heard it pops immediately after being checked, that it pops in 20-30 min intervals at the same spot, and a few other things too. Seems like there isn't one clarified way to get this thing. I've ran around to all four supposed pop points and never even seen the ??? once. That's when no one else is even inside Quicksands to get it before me. Tungi is a good axe but no where near worth the effort I've put in to get it. Can I get people's strategies how they got it or where. I've camped spots for hours, and ran around b/t all 4 spots for hours also and never once seen it.
i happened to stumble upon this unknowingly. my ??? was in the same room as the hole you use to drop down to a sandoria mission nm. server/ifrit.

i clicked on 2 '???' and it just did nothing, no message nothing.. 1 was in teh centurion room, and another near the sand fall just south of the centurion room. O.o
There are a total of 4 spawn points that I know of, in the J-7 Entrance from Eastern Altepa Desert of Quicksand Caves.

OK i've spent over 3 hrs with 2 other friends trying to find the ??? just for the tag. Finding the ??? for the NM is no big deal, but we cannot find the ??? for the Antican Tags. The only ??? we ever found were the ones for the Teleport Altep quest. Does anyone happen to know the exact locations of some of the ??? pops? Does anyone know how long a ??? stays up before it dissapears? Anyone possibly have a map that has the spots marked off?

Ok guys - here's how this is done. You obtain the Antican Tag by clicking any of the ???'s found that randomly spawn throughout Quicksand Caves. This ??? disappears once you obtain the tag, and reappears instantly at one of the other spawn points.
Once you have the tag, you go to WESTERN ALTEPA desert, and enter the caves @ J-9. Once inside, just follow the cave and then cross the large room until you get to the small dead end @ D-9. There will be a ??? there. Trade the tag to THAT ???, and it'll spawn Tribunus VII-I.
This ??? reappears after 12 minutes, so you can fight him as often as you like, provided you have tags.

it don't respaw instantly it takes about 2hrs to respawn
He's talking about the ??? for Tribunis, not the ??? for the Antican Tag.
I did this last night after getting absolutely crap drops on Centurio X-I. And I got crap drops from Tribunis as well. Not a good night for me.

The Antican Tag is for triggering Tribunus VII-I in Quicksand Caves. You enter through Western Altepa Desert (J-9) entrance and go to D-9 in the caves. There you'll find a ???.
Recommended Levels: ~Lv.60 x 6 players or ~Lv. 70 x 2 players.
