I love this thing, just got it yesterday due to random luck, spent a week farming money to buy the materials for the craft, and had a friend craft it with 96+3 and advanced image support, and boom, +1. Wasn't a special day or moon either, going from AH body piece to this is so nice.

So Which is better Haubergeon+1 or Byrnie+1
Haubergeon+1 with a Def:46 Str:+6 Agi:-5 Accurcy:12 Attack:12
Byrnie+1 with a def:47 (1 more then hauby) hp:35 (ok hp bonus) Str:5 (one less then hauby) Dex:-3 vit:5 agi:-3 mnd:-3 chr-3 attack:25 (13 more then hauby) by compairing these two together there vary close competition sort of speak also depending on the job or race having negative stats chould be bad so I was (war) which would you pick and if you had expierence with both of the armor's in action. It would be great and plz post any of the other listed jobs that would be best for the jobs that can wear these great pieces.

I've used Byrnie, Byrnie+1, and Haub on my WAR/NIN. Comparing this to Byrnie+1? Either one is a WAR's dream armor before Adaman Hauberk but look at it like this:
Haub+1 + Swordbelt+1 + Peacock Charm = 22 ACC + 24 ATK + 6 STR
Byrnie+1 + Life Belt + Peacock Charm = 20 ACC + 25 ATK + 5 STR + 30 HP
Haub+1 is nominally better for DD war. I personally liked the Byrnie more because it's got nicer tanking stats and I did a lot of tanking, and I also used it on ninja. Also with sushi it becomes very valuable in a full attack setup; that said, I think haub+1 and ACC gear with ATK food will parse higher.

i got me 1 for once i ding 59 war/nin got me those giga lv 50 braclets with the sunring+1 for +4str trying to max my str out and acc but i hav ebeen told i was a gill seller just becuase i had a few mill spare what i give to any 1 nedy like badger on questal

Well, maybe not all of us can remember Victory Rings, and he said Sun Rings +1...that should be good enough, you don't have to get all that technical...
I used my gil I saved for peacock charm to buy Hauby +1 because I decided, along with advice from other drks, to go with the Hauby and the charm for later.
I get examined by a drk in his own Hauby though not +1, and calls me a gil-buyer. -_-

Well there is a lot of envy in this game. Everyone want to "pwn" everyone, be more useful than everyone, do more damage than everyone, have better gear than everyone, eat better food than everyone, have a better money maker than everyone, etc, etc.
So that guy probably though, "damn he has one too? Now I'm gonna have to one up him. I think I'll just put him down by calling him a gil buyer, that will make me feel better!"

Not for NIN Tank, no, unless you're fighting IT+++ that will hit nearly 100% anyways.
NIN DD on the other hand, very good for...
I bought this the other day in a Lower Jeuno Bazaar for 8million on the Midgardsormr server...still 6 more levels til I can use it but it's a damn good incentive! ^^

evasion-10 is the hauberk @ lv69, you also won't get the AGI-5 ^^.
i have bought this for 7mil and i think its the best investment i have made in this game i have a lot of great gear lol and the funny thing is i cannot wear this armor yet with any of my jobs =[
i only have 2 lvl 53's bst and drk both can use this =] but since i found my love for drk again just before snipers were replaced by woodsman rings now with this and my 2x woodsman my def is gonna be great

Not for NIN -20 Evasion =bad. Go with Scorpian Harness, even though its 3x more on Carbuncle.

bought this for my paladin in hades for maat fight ^^
the evasion is the same on the regular synth of this item
2.3M on Leviathan. I just put my Haubergeon up for auction and once it sells, i'm buying the +1 thats on the AH. Haubergeon helped my Samurai incredibly... it was the best investment I ever made for the job... I can't wait to get the +1 :)
