I am currently at 99.1+1 Alchemy. Finally bothered to get this today. 1/9/06.
As for GUild Points, Veterans usually tend to get 5-6k a day, which is great. Sometimes alittle more than 7k. But than there is also days where u get like 2k >.< Its all based on the day.

The max points awarded per day are the same, and are not affected by HQ synths. What he's talking about, is the fact that the difficulty of the items required for GP become much more difficult.
Found this out the hard way when they asked for a Cutlass. Not a very high alchemy synth, but it requires a pretty good Smithing sub-skill. A lot of the higher GP items require sub-skills, or hard to find ingredients.
We still get the "beeswax" and "silent oil" GP opportunities, but it just gets more complicated as you advance your skill.

Has anyone seen alchemy glasses for sure? If you look at the picture of the alchemy guild person, she is wearing glasses... I haven't been able to find any information about them.

The guildmaster has one equipped. It's like the medical logo of 2 snakes twisting around eachother sort of thing I only saw it briefly.
If you make the 4000 a day in points (as a novice) you can earn this item rather quickly. Seventeen and a half days! (70000/4000=17.5) I'm making this before I level my alchmy any further so that I don't have to spend too much money on the ingrediants for the products. Then again if you can make more points per item or more items in a day with a higher rank it could be worth it... it's very quick and cheap the next twenty levels.

I think he means that he will fail less, there by losing less gil. Although you will probably spend the same amount on ingredients, just get better results from synthes. ^^
Don't you get more points if u submit a higher level items than a level 1 item? i meant a level 75 alchemy submit those items needed for more points than those level 1 alchemy submitting level 1 items needed right?
