actually it's +5 acc for shura kabuto for nq version and this piece beats it. +5 acc at 75 doesn't mean squat and you don't lose the hp, same str and if you can get the melee crown then you can upgrade it to a +1 version in ..i think valkrum dyna which is even better. +5 acc pfft. **** charm and sushi if you that worried about acc or tp in ur snipers then ws in str rings.
I'd rather take the stats this piece gives me and upgrade it for more str. str>acc at these lvls by far.
ohat? cmon guys. I realize some of or most of these posts are old but acc at this lvl is not priority and you fight mostly tough -vt mobs anyway doing tp burn. No need for the evasion as a monk. rather have shura which I do use over ohat anyday. crown> all

genbus kabuto i the best fir using ws at that lvl since Raging fist asuran fist and dragon kick are some what based on VIT

Dragon Kick = 50% vit 50% str
Raging Fists = who the hell uses raging fists if you have both of those?

This is a rare drop from Dynamis-Xarcabard and is, for me, the best head gear for a Monk.
Optical Hat is too much accuracy at 75. Shura Kabuto has the same STR +5, but Melee Crown has additional HP, -emnity and subtle blow. The +7 accuracy will not make a difference.

im wandering. what is the best head gear for a MNK at this lvl? this? genbu's thingy? or a panzer mask for haste??

At level 75, I'd rather use Shura Zunari Kabuto over Optical Hat for the added STR. If you are still missing enough at 75 to need the 5 accuracy you will lose, you have problems. ^^

Id think prolly Optical hat would be one of the better head gear items at this level. Although depending on your setup and resources it could be a number of things.

Optical Hat BAR NONE. Genbus helm thingy makes for nice Chakra. If not those then id say Feral Mask for Guarding and Chakra Healing Ability.

Actually, the Shura Zunari Kabuto is only +5. On a side note, I think the Kanuto is 2nd best -- This crown's subtle blow definatly helps in areas like KRT (King Ranperre's Tomb) With those annoying TP moves! (God I hate Drainga and Blindga) Enmity down is also good for a monk for obvious reasons...

with 3-4 mnks beating on a set of bones the mod is going to get TP, no matter how much suble blow you have.
I like the Shura kabuto for all around stats. the +5 acc helps you to punch through blind when focus and chakra are down, and you don't give up the str or swap from jse belt to life belt or str rings to acc rings.
Genbu's Kabuto is only good for chakra, and is a bad idea to use during xp, if the mage targets you for a cure/ga and you blink off the screen on em, they just wasted MP. Then you have to consider that the wasted MP would prolly be the diff between chain 11 pts and chain 20+ pts.

I agree with pooku. The drainga/blindga attacks are a pain in the *** for any party. STR +5 is always welcome, along with the +5%hp. But I would prefer this over the other head gear options because of all the stats AS WELL as the negative enmity. Optical hat is good at 70, but you should be able to hit fine once you get this. And any great DD definately knows the value of negative enmity, especially when you hit some of those beautiful Asuran Fists <3
Just got this Crown in Dynamis-Xarcabard for my Tarutaru MNK - Im so stoked about having it, it's so sexy.. i submitted 2 pictures of the item itself + my fashion shot, hopefully Alla is nice and puts them up =)
