I will do some hunting cause i have to log asap. BUT, apple mint is Tavnazian Safehold npc. You may not be able to buy until after Mission 4-1. Sorry i don't have more info but maybe this can get you started ^^

Headed off to the cooking guild today with my 4 Clot Plasma in hand. I just knew it was time to get the HQ version of the Crimson Jelly.So I walk out to my spot that I always seem to cook at.Then I start 1 Crimson, 2 Crimson 3 Crimson,then it happens I see the animation I am already clapping an dancing before it finishes.After 12 trys I did it,I am very happy BLM indeed.An I don't know the stats. on this either,an was made on Watersday.
imho second best blm food.

It's not going very cheap on Bahamut either. 70k also, with Clot Plasma selling for 35k. HUGE profit for higher level cooks (me)...but also great to make and eat for myself being a BLM ^^. If you REALLY wanna rack in the profit...Take the time to farm them on your own...it's tedious, but every one you get is 70k in your pocket! If you're a cook that is...

Wow, I wish this was as cheap as you guys say on these other servers. It is currently going for 70k each on Odin. And I have a feeling they are only going to go up from there.

LMAO how many times does it have to posted that to get the apple mint. You have to do a certain Tavanasion mission (quest) toGet this mint. The store like the Ah is closed untill u do a certain mission. All she will say is she would like to open a shop. After completing mission u will have access to store, then u will be able to buy the mint from the NPC. I have the read the same question asked about 6 times in 8 different questions here the same person had answered after everyone. Said the same thing everytime lol. Its not like the question wasn't asked frequently too. That Question the answer. That question again, the answer over and over and over . I kind of find this funny, because if u are paying attention to what u are readin, or if u would read the forums u would have noticed the question had beenasked and answered about a bijillion times lol.

The HQ of this is Vermillion Jelly but I hav no idea what that stats are. I just noticed it on the ah and thought I would mention it. I hope to submit a picture soon.
These now sell for 40k a piece on Garuda! No one is willing to farm the Viscous Clots because of the horrid drop rate.
Honestly with the difficulty of obtaining the clots, I wouldn't be surprised if the price rises even higher then that.
No one has ever sold a stack of clot plasma. There have been singles sold from 1-10k a piece. But it's not a regular price...
Plus, to obtain the apple mint from a vendor, you need to be at chapter 4 in the promivians. I haven't done a single one of those missions, so I will have to rely on the AH (when people sell them) to get these...
So unless you have people farming these, expect prices to rise! =(

I have made 8 of these (7 with Terra Crystals ^_^) now with level 88 cooking. I have done so each time on Earthsday, facing south (Titan's constellation).
I actually attempted 10 synths all together. I had two failures, one of which smoked the clot plasma (now costing 25,000 gil each on Fairy, /cry).
I had no skillups on this recipe, nor any HQ animations (needless to say). I haven't used one yet, and won't until BLM hits 51. I'll use Marron Glace and INT+ wands in the meantime.

these are selling for 30k+ each on gilgamesh atm >.> too bad cos I'd really like to use this for lvling ; ; <3 the new 3 hour foods
Made 12 of these today after farming clots for a while in Bibiki. No skillups, breaks, or HQ synths at 94 cooking.

Anyone know where Apple Mint comes from? I bought a stack from windy AH but I'd like to know the source as it isn't sold there much.

ok since you blasted me about apple pie +1, hopefully someone on Remora can make this stuff. i never see it at all. i am sure its gonna be expensive. is it worth it for BLM under 25 or so over a melon pie +1. i undrstand it lasts longer, if it is 3 hrs, you need 6 melon pie +1s to match its TOE right? but if it only gives 10% of your base MP, anybody under a certain level would be better of with melon +1 right?
Anybody under 400 Base MP wouldn't be getting the full MP bonus of this item. (i.e. 40MP which is same as Pumpkin Pie)

This is the best food for Blm & Rdm over lvl 50/60...too bad nobody makes it... ;_;
The few sold on Ragnarok went for 4k/5k each, pretty nice deal imho.
Melon Pie+1 is still an excellent food though (btw it is 3 Melon +1 for a Jelly, Melon+1 lasts 1 hour instead of the 30 mins of the regular version).

I heard that it actually gives 10% mp up to a cap of 80, so unless you have 800+ mp you won't get the full benefit. Still nothing else except ambrosia gives this much int. With how rare this likely would be due to limited number of clots to kill and its unmatched int bonus you could probably get away with selling them for quite a lot (saw some other site, forget what, a while ago listed it as an 88 cap recipie). I asked someone who had sold apple mint to himself on auction house and he said you needed to have completed CoP mission 3-1).
Apple Mint: This item actually is bought from Tavnezian Safehold or from the Tavnezian regional vendor; however, you must have completed a certain mission to be able to buy the mint at the Safehold or for the regional vendors to say anything other than "I'm opening a shop soon."
I'm not sure which mission it is, as I actually had a friend buy it for me. At the very most its the same one that grants you auction house access from the Safehold.

My attack also went down from 239 -> 236. No mp regen, not sure about hp regen but I doubt it.
Also, this food lasts for 1 hour.
This sells for 5k each on the caitsith server. Almost not worth it i think unless there's some other stats that i'm missing.

Rolanberry pies till 90
Flint Caviar till 92
Tonosoma Riceballs till 94
Sweet Rice Cakes till 96
Cursed Soup till 100, hopefully sometime this year.

well i was lucky and found a mule selling emperor fish right by the guild. so i made flint caviar from lvl 83-88 and now i'm on tonosama rice balls until lvl 94.

i still haven't synthed this yet b/c i can't find any apple mint...none at AH on caitsith server and i have no clue what mob drops these...

what did you synth from lvl 80-90 or so? i'm 81 and doing marron glace right now which isn't going too bad, but can only take it to 86

I made a few of these with level 94.8 cooking skill. Got the recipe online, not from the NPCs in the game. I didn't HQ or fail any, nor did I get any skill ups.
Apple Mint is finally available at AH on Siren, however I haven't explored the new areas enough to know where it comes from. It cost me 10k for a stack.
