The whole set is sick but by the time u hit lvl 40 i would switch the helmet for the Iron Musketeers Helm... cuz its better w/ the +2 Vit.
These are the best gloves for DD at lvl 30. On my server they average 30-40k. Very little investment for ACC+ gear. As many have said 2 DEX= 1 ACC. IN GENERAL.
I wouldn't say its 100% confirmed. Dex does effect hit rate no doubt, but the ratio is not confirmed. The general belief is 2:1 ratio, other than that ACC is usually aways preferable to DEX.

I just got these for my level 30 Samurai, and I must admit they do help. I'm of Sandy nationality, so I can get these easy. With my DEX of 38 +5 and these, I do hit a lot more often then usual, and I crit for massive damage.
I'm not sure about other AH's, but the AH in Jeuno (Sylph server) lets it run for about 30 grand a piece. Expensive, eh? I felt lucky I could get these for a mere 4k in CP.

Centurions is availible when bastok is in last bud, but bastok dose good on mine

Ive had a hard time trying to figure out "Accuracy" and such. When something gives you a +1 in DEX, an item giving a +1 in Accuracy would be better right? Ive been told all sorts of things by fdifferent ppl. Id think these gloves would be good for DRK right? I say because DRK has a tough time hitting often. Thanks to nayone who can fill me in...
I'm not sure how much DEX=ACC, and stuff like that. I do know that you should go for ACC gear over DEX gear. Get these and not the Centurion Finger Gauntlets.
2 DEX = 1 ACC So these gloves are definitely a must. they would be the same as having 2 balance rings

No.. It's 2DEX grant you one point of Accuracy.
2 dex = one ACC.... Acc doent add to Dex. Dex effects more then just ACC. 2 dex= 1 ACC and 1 RACC. So if your a DRK that uses a Xbow 2 Dex would be the same as +1 accuracy and +1 range accuracy

2 DEX =/= 1 ACC. Square said that the relation between the stats is more complicated then this. Also, DEX does not affect RACC; AGI does. The only thing that DEX affects aside from ACC is critical hit rate.

usually 9 k on AH , 4 k in Conquest points for Sandy .... and this beats the hell out of the Cent gloves ... I dont understand why that would be "worth" more

If the Centurion gloves cost more it's because they can be worn by:
Jobs: Beastmaster, Dark Knight, Dragoon, Paladin, Ranger, Red Mage, Samurai, Warrior
whereas this item can be worn by:
Jobs: Beastmaster, Dark Knight, Ninja, Paladin, Samurai, Warrior
Also, if Bastok is never in first place on your server, that can make the price rise for centurion gear that is only available when Bastok is in first or second place.
