I just helped some friend kill XO and I got the hat drop!

So, I'm wondering, how long does the effect last?
As with the vision ring, do you need to keep the hat on to keep the effect active?

Its not an effect as such, so it doesnt wear and you can unequip it as soon as you have used it.

It acts exactly like a Sams Meditate, when you use it your pet will gain 20tp/tic upto a total of 100tp. Its just a shame it only has 50 charges.

I save mine for BCNM type fights, so I can open up with an early sic attack, beyond that I dont have that much use for it as by the time your sic timer is back up your pet will have 100+ TP anyway.

Usefullness of this Zoolator hat

I think most BST who compete in ballista have used this hat for their pets so they can generate TP without actually taking damage or hitting anything.
Right off the bat you can have a tiger chasing down your target and use sic when they are in range. ROAR!

That's if you wanna **** away all the time it took to get the kill and the drop and then waste all 50 charges on killing someone in ballista

If you had a jug of sun water (useable at 75BST, gives NM cactuar) you could guarantee that he had TP ready before he disappeared.

1000 Needles (Yes, please.)
#REDACTED, Posted: May 28 2005 at 12:05 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) a; cactuar jug can do 10,000 needles

A cactuar jug doesnt do 10,000needles are you even a lvl75 bst?
B cactuar jug lasts 10min, DO YOU HAVE A 75 BST????
C lol again do you have a 75bst? to start off cactuar's 10min reign with 100% tp is much better then starting him off with 0

I always have problems reading these "use" equipment. You can only use this once every 30 minutes, correct? Jug pets don't last that long -_-

u should think along the lines of HNM or BCNM etc take fungar pet wit u and use this hat and u can have an instant Drkspore at start of fight and 2 mins later another.

i think this is more for DMG on a sic vs getting to do it a million times a fight. i may be wrong but wouldnt more tp == more dmg?
What's the point?

Ok...Your pet can have its TP increase or regenerate. Big Deal. You still have a 2 minute timer to worry about before you can Sic your pet. SE needs to fix BST. The timers are a bit ridiculous and I don't think this item is that helpful. I can see where this item might be useful, but I think BST deserves more.

When we 1st ran into the Xolotl HNM in AC there was a Japanese player standing by watching us, when I asked him what Xolot dropped, he said that it had dropped a crystal the previous night. So I was not expecting much.

I believe we were the 1st ones on the Bismarck server to actually get the two drops (Perseus's Harpe, Zoolater Hat).
