they run for roughly 15k on bahamut so its not a total waste. i got 2 in 2 hours the other camping intulo. and i got intulo and wasted him got curaga earring and the slacks...im a pretty happy person i made around 80k easy..need it for my blm spells anyway 40 spells are a bit pricy! january 9, 2009

I farm these with my 69 thf all the time, i usually get about 3-4 in 2 hours...drop rate sucks ***, and i wont even go into the awful drop rate on the magic slacks from Intulo.....actually i wouldnt even know cuz its never dropped them...0/11 all with TH2

I too got a HQ skin from an eft at the docks.

The information is wrong, this drops off all efts not just the upper tier ones. Right after the update I was killing efts at Sunset Docks just to pass the time while waiting for the mannaclipper and got one. Needless to say I didn't catch the clipper ^_^
The drop rate on this item is horrible, I got 3 my first hour then the next 2 hours got nothing, then one more and after that I called it quits.

Yeah, the chances of the HQ skins dropping off of those are slim to none. My party was exping partly off of Tartarus Efts and those dropped a HQ skin pretty much every single kill. So, as with most monster classes with variable levels, the better drops will happen more often on the higher leveled mobs.

Not really. While exping solo in Bibiki Bay, I've gotten exactly 6 eft skins, and 2 H.Q. Eft Skins.... Not a bad ratio.
wow, on midg. this goes for 3-5k XD even after new gobbie bag, other items are expensive though ^^ well over 400k for them ^^

checked jeuno AH on leviathan on Dec 11 HQ eft skin was going for 7-9k...three days later on Dec 14 after everyone found out about gobbie bag 6 HQ eft skin now sells for 50-60k >.<

I'm almost positive that a HQ skin drops off the lower level Efts. While I'm not sure about this, I believe HQ items usually drop off monsters that are level 50+. I mean, you never got HQ Crab Shells in Valkurm or Qufim, but you do get them from Robber Crabs.

either farm it with an exp pt in bibiki bay or pay 12k in ah, or if last one the panic price of 20k
