Burnite Shells are extremely large pointy-a-rointy shell-areenos. You'll know-a-wow when you diddley-doddily find one! DescriptionAfter you complete the Meteorite quest, Koru asks you to go to Shakhrami and examine the rock you find there. Look for it around F-8 on your map. When you examine it, an Ichorous Ire will appear. Kill it, loot the Burnite Shell, and bring it back to Koru. The level requirement is tied ONLY to the area the quest takes place in... Try and do the quest earlier than 20 and death awaits

Says Min Lvl 30, just thought I would let everyone know I got it at Lvl 20. Sure can't kill the thing yet, but still I got the quest.

Let me also note, that the Icherous Ire can only be found in F8 on the *lower* level of Shakrami Maze. It's full of Wight's, Wendigo's, Prozaea, and Labrynth Scorpions too. I wouldn't recommend trying to solo this quest until at least 40.

I just finished this quest. It turns out that the monster is more like lvl 40-45 mob, because the 50 PLD w/ me (I'm 33 WHM btw) even had some trouble with it and it took us a good while to kill.
The item you receive for completing this quest is a Great club. It's really not worth it >< The club only goes for about 1k in Windurst AH on the Fairy server.

Hey all, for everyone who hasn't got this mission some info to help you out. First of all you have to have compeleted 25 DIFFERENT quests (no repeats) and have complete the previous quests for him. The mob is a lvl 35-36 so it can't be taken care off till way later. Hope this helps you. :)

you do realize you have to wait a bit before he will give this to you right? i got it like 5 days later (real days) because i didnt pay attention to him, then i walked up to him and said WASSSSUP!! and he was all like, whoa sunny yuou scared me, hows about you get me a burnite shell(just kidding about that wassup thing there) but i did wait a while before i talked to him again, that might be it

I have finished gadget and star struck and still do not get this quest. I've completed 20 Windurst quests too, so fame level as a requirement seems unlikely.

I am lvl 20\10 and I still dont get the quest. I have completed 90% of the windurst quests on this page, so its not a lvl or fame issue. Is it possible to have too much fame?

It's probably not the Onion quests.

I got level 13 and now I recieved this quest. Also I've heard that you need to first complete several other quests in order to gain 'fame' within Windurst.

Rezoning doesn't work. Seems that it has a lvl req. for it. Great Club (1h staff) is the reward listed from another site.

You have to be a certain level or something for this quest, ive finished meteorite and all he talks about is some dragon in his dream.

I think it may be tied into the Star Onion Brigade quests. After you finish Inspector's Gadget, the SOBs talk about needing Koru Moru's ring to get into the "ghosty house." I had already finished Star Struck (meteorite) and did not talk to Koru Moru again until after Inspector's Gadget, which is when he gave me this quest.

Koru-Moru's ring can be found in Castle Oztroja in the same place you go for Windurst M7, its a key-item.

I'm level 12 rdm and just got this quest. Are you sure it's a level thing?
