SummaryA piece of ranger artifact gear lays hidden in a coffer in Crawler's Nest. WalkthroughNote: You must have completed Sin Hunting - RNG AF1 and activated Borghertz's Chasing Hands in order to obtain your armor. First, you must acquire a Nest Coffer Key, which drops from Knight Crawlers, Crawler Hunters and Helm Beetles. Once you have the key, you must find a treasure coffer. The coffer can spawn in two places in the room north of the wespes (F-6), in three places in the room with rumble crawlers just south of the wespes (G-7 and G-8) and in two places in the tunnel where helm beetles roam (F-9 and G-9). Trade your key to the coffer and you will receive your Hunter's Braccae. You will only receive your item if you open the coffer as a ranger. 1. Activate "Borghertz's Chasing Hands" quest in Upper Jeuno from Guslam. (this quest has nothign to do with this AF, except that the game now knows that you are looking for your AF.)
2. Go to Crawlers Nest and kill some Rumbler Crawlers and Helm Beetles.
3. Get the Coffer Key to drop.
4. Change to Rng (if you arent already in this job).
5. Sneak/Invis through Crawlers Nest until you find the Treasuse Coffer.
6. Open the Coffer to receive your Hunters Braccae.
Once again, if you dont have the Chasing Hands quest, you wont get the Braccae. Also (learned from a friend recently) if you arent the job that needs the AF when you open the coffer, you wont get the AF. You can be any job when getting the key, but you must be rng to get the Hunters Braccae from the coffer.
I know I was really redundant, but I tried to say the same thing in different ways for diferent people. I hope This helps Clear this up.
I use rng in this post cause that is what the item is. The same thing goes for any job with any AF coffer. You MUST be that job when opening the coffer.

done so im looking to getting this very soon. Luckly i got the coffer key in a pt killing helm beetles. I still dont understand how this is considered a quest though......I mean theres no start NPC or anything like that. jsut a simple tresure hunt.
