I found the only way to resume these cutscenes is by paying Cacaroon an Imperial Bronze Piece. Giving him 1000gil before activating this cutscene leads to you paying the 1000gil for the Two Horns quest. Also, if you're the kind of person who goes around talking to everyone, unlocking all the quests, you might even have that quest about the "Baby Tarutarus" as well. Just talk to Cacaroon repeatedly until you get a true-blue *CUTSCENE* of him telling you he has valuable information. At which point, the rest will become clear.

After talking to Cacaroon you MUST go to the temple at (K-7) and approach the Gordeus for a CS before you will get ANY CS at the Teahouse.

i haad the same problem as some pp couldnt get into the cs.but being stubborn i just traded that strting npc a couple times ended up spending 3k in total.so i hope everyone can do the same.

Yeah, umm i think i got that guy to say ive got some juicy info for ya, but i didnt pay him. I went to do all of the Lure of the wildcat quests, and i went to talk to saleem and she gave me the bronze piece, and i talked to her again and she gave me this quest. I havent yet went to the teahouse but im going to right now.

You need to go into the temple first, make sure you paid Cacaroon 1000gil. If need be, zone first then go to the temple (J-8, K-8). Then you go to the tea house

I cant get the cutscene in the teahouse either, i dont think its a matter of time as i went away for a rl week after flagging the mission and i cant do anything to get the CS. i went back and tried to talking to both naja and cacaroon again. I'm at a loss at what to do now

I'm not getting a CS when I walk into the Teahouse. I've gone back to Naja and Cacaroon several times after waiting a couple hours... nothing. Advice?

I didn't have to wait a Day, i just waited about 15 mins then pop, CS so I guess its differenet for everybody

Just did this. It does not take a Vday to get this after ToAU 3. I only waited about 10 minutes and then got the CS!

Fyi going back and talk to Naja work but i had to click on Cacaroon like 6 times b4 i got the right CS cause he does keep talking about mamook
I had the Two Horns quests already opened to and what i did was talk to him two times in a row and that did the trick.

I had to physically trade him the money, it didn't automatically take it out of my inventory. Hope this helps those who are stuck!

Ok, apologies if I double-post here, but not sure if the first attempt went through...
I think you start this mission with Naja Salaheem, not Cacaroon. I went back to Salaheem's Sentinels after completing AU3 (probably a day or two later mind you) and after talking to Naja I got a cutscene where she's happy because profits are up since you joined. Then Raillefal shows up and makes her mad.
After that cutscene, I think you then go talk to Cacaroon.

ok i've been on this mission for months anf i cant get the CS at the temple dont know y i've trade the rat thing this money and every the CS just wont trigger what should i do?????

I currently have Two Horn the Savage flagged, and Cacaroon will only talk about Two Horn. Simply trading him the fee doesn't work either. This has rather badly stalled my AU progress ><

try going back and talking to Naja again.
I know it can be a pain when you are looking for an NPC and have no idea where he is. Cacaroon can be found in the NW corner of square G-11, just outside the moghouse in Whitegate.
Also, in the above description of the mission where it talks about the series of possible choices and to pick one. When I did this a few days ago, I actually had to pick EACH choice before the mission was complete.
