Spell details for Stonega II  

Stonega II, imo is not worth picking up right away. I am a level 70 blm and I still don't have the spell yet. There are just too many other things that are more useful to a blm than this spell. Not to say that it isn't worth it. It is perfect for 40 cap areas such as bcnm and Tavnazian areas. But here are some things to consider:

First, you will more than likely be leveling in areas like crawler's nest and quicksand caves. There are areas that you could use the spell safely, but mostly it is cramped and you are not going to be using gravitation/scisson a whole lot. And by the time that you move on, you will be on waterga ii.

Next, how much gear and spells are you getting? Many will just spend CP and get CC gear (basically being free) and quest Warp II. This makes it relatively easy to save up for the spell. At this point, there are not a whole lot of high ticket items so purchasing it might not be a bad idea.

What will you be using it for? BCNM is good and other 40 cap areas, it will be your strongest elemental spell. Granted, compared to the other elemental spells of the same tier, it is weak, but at 40 it is the strongest you have. Anyway, besides that, the only other use I see for it is farming. At that level, you are kind of limited to where you can do it. Not to mention you don't want to blow 109 mp in one sitting when 71 on firaga II will do the same thing with less mp.

Personally, I skipped the spell because I couldn't afford it at the time, and I have had no problems with not having it. That is not to say that I will not get it. I am one of those guys who will be leveling rdm and drk to a high enough level so that I will know EVERY black magic spell. It is all in a matter of how you play. If you BCNM 40 alot and you need it, or if you feel that you need the spell to "Be all that you can be", and can afford it, by all means, get it. Just remember that 10-20 levels later, you will be needing a minimum of 2 elemental staves (dark and ice...of course ice isn't necessary but it definitely helps), sleepga II (for ZM if nothing else), and a black cloak. (psh 10-20 levels...but if you get good parties that 10-20 levels come in a hurry.) Right now, most of the gear that I have on my wish list is 600k+ a piece. A 120-200k spell is not worth buying. I have some ls friends that need tests, that is where I will be getting my spell.

it drops from a orc-NM, and its high lvl, 75 might be able to solo it, but not certainly, so this is the reason for the high price... the orc spawn each 10 min, but droprate isn't very good

This spell is up to a good 180k-200k on Alexander Server

man yall suck...its 200k on ifrit....damn....well guess im not getting this spell for a while :(

PT did an earth based SC, I did 414 damage with 44+33 INT (Hume, Lv40) on a beetle at crawler's nest. Needless to say everyone was impressed.

I paid 200k for it. -_-;

I think fairy is one of the most expensive servers now...140k for this spell and 700k for erase >.<

This spell is about 80k on Kujata server last time I checked. I skipped it after a level 74 BLM friend told me he has used it about 2 times, hehe. I really mean no offense but 50-80k that isn't that bad for a spell. All the spells from level 50-60 ran/will run about 750-800k >.< kinda makes 50-80k seem like loose change, lol. Damn this job is getting expensive........ :/

price is correct, because the drops comes from a lv 75 NM inside Davoi's Monastic Cavern, and not all that commonly either. this damned scroll has jumped to 60k on bahamut >.<.
