The Trials of Atlantis Scholars are about to be busy:

-  Scholars studying the new artifacts from the Shrouded Isles dungeons have finally managed to alter the enchantments placed upon some of the new breastplates. Players who received the first version of these breastplates on a Trials of Atlantis-enabled ruleset will be able to trade in their existing upgraded breastplate for the new versions introduced in 1.96. Players should seek out Gain S'ondin in Caer Gothwaite, Navala in the Grove of Domnann, or Kynval in the city of Aegirhamn.

Au revoir bonus zone bonuses:

The additional zone bonuses that have been running since November 6th have now been turned off. We now return you to your regular bonus programming.

PvE / PvP Ruleset hot fix:
-  Teleporters will once again offer players the ability to port to locations on the Midgard Isles of Aegir.

Time to put away all the Holloween decor and get ready to haul out the holly:

With the winter season fast approaching, the Halloween events and Harvest Festival have been tucked away until next year:

-  The Halloween Events are now over. The costume potions' magics have all worn out and will now do nothing if consumed. Players may sell back potions to any vendor.

-  The Harvest Festival has come to a close. The vendors have folded up their tents and returned to their homes, and players will no longer be able to complete these quests. Look for them next year!

A wee little hot fix :

 - Tutankhsekhmet will once again drop remains if a player who does not have credit for Master Level 4.3 kills her.

According to the Camelot Herald, a couple of Friday hot fixes are now live:

 - Freezing Tendrils (Level 50 Snare in the Ice Specialization line for Wizards) now correctly has a 50% snare.

 

 - The typo in the name of Falwur’s Signet Ring has been corrected.

Darn, more downtime :

On Thursday morning, November 6th we will be taking all servers down at 6:00am EST so that we can resolve issues that cropped up with version 1.96. "There's Magic in the Air" with the 1.96 patch that hit the live servers today, check out these release notes :

The Camelot Team proudly presents version 1.96. Casting classes were the focus of this patch cycle with the Spiritmaster, Wizard, and Enchanter classes all receiving new spells. Several new trophies have been made available, and delves have been added to all remains to help make creating trophies easier for trophy hunters everywhere. This patch also brings a continuation of the Shrouded Isles armor updates which began in version 1.95.

NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

- Through careful breeding and many long hours of magical training, player controlled mounts will now allow players to travel at the same speed as the Speed of the Realm provided by Hasteners throughout the lands. This change will affect all player controlled mounts with the exception of the free level 10 mount.

- After slaving away for many long hours, the Taxidermists of the realms have finally managed to figure out how to make trophies out of the remains of the following monsters: Vaerin, Torst, Samut, Yefeu, Tutankhsekhmet, Andranchos Xuthos, Echo of Qebehsenuef, and Mesedsubastet. These monsters will now drop remains.

1.96 is coming to a live server near you on Wednesday:

On Wednesday, November 5th all servers will be coming down at 6:00am EST so that we can bring you version 1.96. We're estimating that the servers will be back up at approximately 6:00pm EST. As always keep an eye on the Herald for updates and news concerning the server downtime!
