I'm sure most of you have already seen this, but just in case, from 1pm to 9pm EST there is going to be a huge patch: At the following time, we will be performing FINAL FANTASY XI server maintenance on all worlds. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable. There will be an auction house server maintenance accompanied with a FINAL FANTASY XI server maintenance. For this reason, the expected maintenance time will be longer than usual. We apologize for any inconvenience. *The client software will also be updated at this time. Once this maintenance is completed, the client update will start automatically after logging back into FINAL FANTASY XI. Please follow the instructions that appear on your screen. Thank you for your patience. [Affected Period] From Jun. 28, 2004 10:00 to Jun. 28, 2004 18:00 (PDT) *The projected update completion time may be subject to change. Get a tan? Have fun? You do realize it's also hurricane season in some parts, so it being "Summer" sorta makes it pointless to step outside and see the su-... err.. black, voluminous clouds that loom overhead. Eh.. atleast I got a chance to read a bit more and watch Office Space and Princess Bride again. :\

Bah, new distribution system for experience past 75 according to the announcements junk. Sounds like a higher level cap won't never be available to us. That sucks, but at least it means with exp being distributed to "various attributes", leveling won't stop at 75, one more thing to do up when I hit that there level. More on topic though...WHY WONT THAT STUPID "CHECK VERSION" BUTTON GET REPLACED WITH MY FAMILIAR PLAY BUTTON. ._. *cries*

This patch better be good not like adding **** that is too expensive like prob the maniquins will be. What was wrong with the Auction house? The only reason I saw was me paying 20K for something and it dropping to 15K and me losing money, that's ludacris. The GMs and/or Game developers are probably enjoying a lag-free environment making all the ITs to lvl 75's Too weak for their own characters so they can level up quick as one of you guys said above or below. I'm getting parranoid quick someone get my @§§ another steroid!

Now while im not likeing the LONG loooong patch time..... id have to say im glad they are patching....mayby they will fix some of the bad stuff that makes me shake my fist in anger and think of not buying FF anymore :/

But while i am glad that they are patching knowing our luck ( the FF11 players luck i mean ) they will not fix anything good or anything usfull thats how it usually goes lol or just add stuff forl ike lvl 70+ players lol :P

What's that NM drop? I heard it drops 1 hour of playing time and mostly usless things like 13 hours of matinence. How much does this go for? My LS said it sells for my isanity, but will someone check the price and reply please?

I hear the Rare/Exclusive item "Hour of Playing Time" (Lvl 1, All Jobs, All Races, Most Servers)goes for somewhere around $12.95 a month (Earth time)... The Exclusive item "13 Maintenance Hours" (Lvl 1, All Jobs, All Races, All Servers) goes for somewhere around $5000... which balances out quite nicely because that's about how much you'd spend at a psychologist. Ofcourse this is the last I checked... Ever since the fix, they may have the ability to oddly stack the "Hour of Playing Time"...
