Take Part in the Moogle's Law Contest
Anything that can go wrong will go wrong. That's the basic idea behind the adage known as Murphy's Law and, in Final Fantasy XI, is an every day situation. From your Sneak wearing right as you're in the middle of a bunch of ravenous monsters aggressive to magic to someone always forgetting their orb when running to a Burning Circle, Murphy's Law seems to always be rearing its ugly head. The fine folks at Square Enix have decided to hold a contest to come up with the best Final Fantasy XI themed Murphy's Law, which they are dubbing Moogle's Law.
This contest will run on the official Final Fantasy XI forums from December 6th through the 12th, and the three winners will be announced the next day. These winners will receive the special Nomad Moogle Statue in-game furniture piece, and will also have their winning entry posted on FFXI's official Twitter feed.

From Playonline.com:
We're pleased to announce the first-ever Moogle's Law Contest! Throughout the years, we're sure adventurers all around Vana'diel have experienced certain "phenomena" that just seem to happen at the worst possible times. Think of the times when sneak and invisible start to wear off at exactly the wrong moment... Or when you're about to make a clean pull in Dynamis and a statue happens to cross your path...
To enter, all you need to do is come up with your own example of a "Moogle's Law"-type of scenario and post it on the forums! The Community Team will select three winners and award them with the coveted Nomad Moogle Statue in-game item, as well as the prestige of tweeting their "laws" from the official FINAL FANTASY XI Twitter account.
