Flying Mount (EQ2 Quest Series)  

I purchase the Freeblood three-pack from the marketplace. Included was the Cloud of Bats. I was able to use it immediately w/o doing any quests.
I have put it on my hotbar. It increase ground speed by 65%. The effect is pretty kool.... All of these bats flying around instead of my body. They do flash in front of my face. This can be distracting in combat.<smile> It can be turned off before combat and reuse time is just a few seconds.

Thanks Lithi, will update that. I think it's actually only the crafter one that you can start at 85.

Well I attempted to pick up the flying mount (cloud of bats) quest at level 86, I have had normal bat mount and race, since it was purchasable

So far I have started the griffon quest, as I already attempted to speak with Drammind Gul, so I started the other quests hoping it would lead me to speak with him.

I was able to have another player attempt to pick it up at 90, and from what they said they were able to pick up the quest.

The funny thing is during the Destiny of Velious Dev Chat 2, they said the quest (flying cloud of bats) would be available at level 86 as well the regular griffon mount
