Initiating the Quest with Luto Mewrilah

Luto Mewrilah: What's up, Kainase?

Luto Mewrilah: I'm afrrraid I don't have any new assignments for you right now.

Luto Mewrilah: Hey hey, what are you looking at me like that for?

It's not like I've been slacking off on information-gathering duty or anything. On the contrary, I've actually had quite a few jobs lined up for you rrrecently.

Luto Mewrilah: But you just never seem to be around when something comes up, Kainase. Feliz, on the other hand, has been snatching up new jobs morrre quickly than I can find them.

Luto Mewrilah: Also, since there hasn't rrreally been anything that either one of you couldn't have handled solo, Feliz has been going about things on his own.

Luto Mewrilah: Not that I'm complaining, but things have been rather quiet since the mirror incident.

Luto Mewrilah: I mean, whatever happened to mouthwatering rrrumors along the lines of, say, a secret organization smuggling priceless treasures out of Aht Urhgan... ?

Feliz: I thought the unsavory episode with the Mirror of Blighted Gloom had ruined your taste for risky business, Luto.

Luto Mewrilah: Well, pull my whiskers...

Finished with the monster already, Feliz?

Feliz: I'm pleased to respond in the affirmative. For a low-level creature like that, very little exertion was required on my part.

Luto Mewrilah: My, my, aren't we full of ourselves today?

Luto Mewrilah: But, well done nevertheless.

Now, let's get down to business.

Luto Mewrilah: I must say, it's not often that we come by such a generrrous client like this. Let's see here... That's half of 30 million gil each for you and me.

Luto Mewrilah: Here's your hard-earned 15 million gil. Don't go spending it all at once!

Feliz: You look like you've seen a ghost, Kainase.

Are you feeling unwell? (what an ???)

Luto Mewrilah: I think Kainase might be feeling a little upset at being left out, Feliz.

Feliz: That's an interesting speculation, Luto.

But I highly doubt that an adventurer of Kainase's caliber would at all be interested in such tasks of inconsequential nature. (what is with this fellow?!)

Luto Mewrilah: I see your point there, Feliz. But if you ask me, you two really aren't that far aparrrt. If you and Kainase were to go head-to-head in battle, I wouldn't know who to put my gil on.

Luto Mewrilah: You, in particularrr, have matured a great deal as an adventurer since we first met, Feliz.

Feliz: Hohoho! Flattery truly is your forte, Luto.

Feliz: But, I must admit that I oft wonder how I would fare against Kainase, if we were to go head-to-head.

Feliz: Kainase, would you accept my invitation to a friend test of mettle?

Luto Mewrilah: Um... I didn't mean to suggest anything of the sort.

But I must admit, I'm warrrming up to the idea.

Feliz: I for one would dearly love the opportunity to do battle with you.

But, you need not feel pressured to oblige me.

Kainase selects "But... but..."

Luto Mewrilah: Don't take it so seriously, Kainase.

After all, it's just a frrriendly bout. (so she thinks!!)

Kainase selects "Sure why not"

Luto Mewrilah: So it's settled! As for the venue, what better place for good friends to trrrade blows than the Qu'Bia Arena?

Feliz: I was about to suggest the very same venue.

Prepare yourself as you see fit, Kainase, then come to the Qu'Bia Arena. I shall be waiting there.

Feliz: I'm very much looking forward to our encounter.

After wiping the floor with your fellow

Feliz: I... yield...

Feliz: I did not expect any less from you, Kainase.

Feliz: I gave it my all, but your experience shone through.

Feliz: Only with more experience could I hope to stand on even ground with you, Kainase. I shall request Luto to allocate more assignments to me.

Feliz: Consequently, there will be even less jobs for you, Kainase, but I hope you do not mind. I only wish to become worthy of adventuring beside you. (yeah right!)
