Introduction

Loyalty rewards are a feature intended to reward players for maintaining an active EverQuest subscription. This is unlike Veteran Rewards, which reward an account based on it's past subscribed time. For simply continuing to subscribe to EverQuest, you will gain Loyalty Crowns every week that can be spent on items to improve your game play. There is no additional charge for the items that Alerynril and Pagus Nonad sell and you do not need to spend cash to gain these items. Simply continue to play EverQuest.

Gaining Loyalty

The amount of Crowns you gain increases for every month that you have a continued subscription to EverQuest. This is called your account's Velocity. This increase in points per week caps out after 12 months. You can check the progress of your loyalty Velocity by either checking welcome screen or by opening your inventory and viewing the upper-right section of the Alt Currency tab. The specific method of subscription is not important, as long as you continue to stay subscribed each month. Your Crown balance is account-wide, and can be accessed by any character on any server on your account.

Loyalty and Subscription Types

All accounts gain 10 Velocity for each month they log in to EverQuest without a lapse, however, the type of account you have (Free, Silver, or Gold) determines how fast you gain Crowns and the amount of Crowns you can have at one time.

  • Free accounts gain Crowns at the slowest rate of the three different account types and have the lowest cap on the amount of Crowns you can have at one time.
For Free accounts, Velocity caps at 30 and the max Crowns cap is 1440.
  • Silver accounts gain Crowns at a faster rate than free accounts and have a higher cap on the amount of Crowns you can have at one time.
For Silver accounts, Velocity caps at 60 and Crowns cap at 2880.
  • Gold accounts gain Crowns at the fastest rate of the three different account types and have the highest cap on the amount of Crowns you can have at one time.
For Gold accounts, Velocity caps at 120 and Crowns cap at 5760.

Purchasing Loyalty Items

To purchase an item from Alerynril or Pagus Nonad, simply right-click on them and the loyalty merchant window will pop up. If you wish to examine an item to see more information before you decide to purchase it, you can right-click on the item name and a description of the item will pop up.

To purchase an item, left-click on the item name and if you have enough Crowns, you can purchase the item.

Inactivity

Inactive accounts do not gain Crowns or Velocity and if your subscription is allowed to lapse, after a certain amount of time, you will begin losing Velocity. Your account will lose 30 Velocity for each full month of inactive status, regardless of membership level.
