For all of you saying thats the wrong stats, it is not, the damage take and slow stats are correct. When this helmet is combined with the breastplate Damage Taken will = 0% and Slow will = 0%, so no the stats are not wrong.
Actually, I'm afraid you're wrong about that. The stats are actually: Slow+5% Damage Taken-5%.
To further show the flaw in your argument that the stats shown are correct, you say that combining the Valhalla Helm with it's Breastplate counterpart would land you with Slow+0% and Damage Taken-0%. If the stats shown for the Helm here were correct, then that would mean the Valhalla Breastplate has Damage Taken-5% and Haste+5%, which is untrue. If it were, who in their right mind would use the Helm to counter those boosts?
Each of these pieces have Damage Taken-5% and Slow+5%, with a grand total of Damage Taken-10% and Slow+10%. Personally I'd take both as PLD and combat the Slow effect with Homam Cosciacles or Gambieras coupled with Velocious Belt.
Drops from Einherhar Odin's chamber from Odin. It is extremeley hard to get. You have to beat all 8 chamers before entering the ninth and final chamber to fight Odin. If you lose to Odin, you have to start all over again. Einherjar is insanely hard as it is to even win a single chamber. Bascially, you enter and you get about 15 random mobs zerging you that are sometimes hard to keep slept and some cannot be slept by BLM (skeletons)...which means you need to take BLM and BRDs to sleep mobs because you never know WHAT mobs you are going to get. There are 2 waves of these mobs before you can fight the final boss. Each mob I'd guess has about 10k HP.
The final bosses have an estimated 150-300k HP and you only have 30 minutes to do ALL of this. You have to kill every single mob in the chamber to win. The marid boss, which my LS fought, spams a TP move, Probiscus Tusk or some crap if he is meleed which returns ~7000 HP at a time...and SPAMS it like constantly with melee attacking. Basically, the easiest way to win Einherjar is to manaburn it with a invincible/perfect dodge pull (provided you don't get magic casting mobs spamming you a$$ with blizzaga III's and sleepga II's) with about 20 BLM. I have a feeling that SE will nerf this area soon and make it a bit easier because as of now, it is insanely hard to win.
Are these the right stats? If they are then what's so good about it beside looking cool? Damage Taken 5%...is that +5% or -5%? If its +5% then it negates any other of the stats pretty much, HP, Vit, high def.
This would be a no-no for PLD for any straight tanking situation...even kiting for that matter.
