While trying to synth my first one. I recieved a 0.1 smithing gain. That brought me to 26. SO the smithing cap is at least 26.

89 to the best of my knowledge.
Extremely useful to NIN and high leveled MNK. MNK75 using full Arhat's set and NIN SJ was able to tank ZM8 Boss with no problems. Survived "Light Sword" over four times as well, thanks to this gear's -DMG %
Couldn't a SAM also make decent use of this item? They're often times a SATA partner. I think there are several better alternatives for a SAM at this level, but if you get could the +1, Physical Damage -9% would be pretty huge, especially when you consider that they would be losing about 6-8 damage compared to other armor, it would be more than compensated for.

It's obvious that's it's for Blink tanking NIN...
amazingly this piece of armor costs only 100 some k,but it costs that much because it add's emity and the light classes that will be wearing DO NOT want enmity especially mnk's seeing how our job is to to massive dmg over time not tank^^
its made with a lvl 90clothcraft skill and like 80k in ingredients.
