Hes totally right you could have Jesters, this one, and blue all at once, just put em in macros or something
?!?

How do you get this item? Does it not exist and was just picked up by the auto-collect? :P

Answering my own question. You get this relic item from Dynamis - Valkurm.
WOW

It IS amazing how many people already started talking about the usefulness of this cape and missed the +7 CHR, which makes it uber 1337 than all other BRD capes ^^

True, that is good. Wasn't thinking of +1...
But it does have these nice, if slightly less usefal stats to boot.

That's why there are equip macros <.<

You could equip the Jester's Cape +1 for a debuff song like Elegy, and equip the Bard's Cape afterwards all in the same macro.

Of course its only a +7 Evasion boost to a job that can barely evade already x.x

Just saying there is definitly some use for this in a pt situation.

^^; Actually if you look at the stats, it gives 7 ACC 7 EVA AND 7 CHR so its actually the best you can get

are you simply missing the solo potential for this cape? or are you ignoring it flat out? During solo, 7acc 7eva > 3 chr.

For solo this is better than a Jesters, of course, but for anything else it's certainly not (nor is it better than a blue cape if you want mp instead of the chr). You ARE allowed to carry more than one back piece you know, you aren't limited to having one or the other.

I'd probably use an amemet (even the NQ) over this for soloing anyway, unless you were going for a heavy evasion setup, and bards don't generally solo things that are anywhere near the level where you would need a lot of evasion to deal with anyway. Also, there are more slots that you can use for soloing gear that give accuracy than attack, even without looking at expensive stuff like a PCC. There's o-hat, battle gloves, verener ring, SH, gleeman's belt...there's not nearly as much gear that gives +attack, and definitely not the +15 from an amemet +1.
OMFG FANTASTIC!~ -_-;

You'd figure it would have some awesome stats. Possibly replaceable to the Jester's Cape... but no.
Accuracy and Evasion. Meh. I'll keep my Jester's Cape.

Stats wise it doesn't seem to helpful in exp pts. =/
