this CAN be desynthed, my skill is too low though, so I don't know the normal, HQ or HQ2 results. but I got the "Your skill is too low" message when trying rather than "This combination of materials can not be synthasized"

the blood stone is a waist item. it gives +5hp and thats it... really nice IMO

Correct, it's a waist item, not neck. It's only really usually for the first few levels (note the min lvl) then 5HP extra doesn't seem worth it when you can get better stuff like DEF.
