Description
This old hunting and fishing village was built four centuries ago on the north edge of Elshimo Island. While the other nations of Vana'diel have embraced some degree of technology, Kazham has maintained many of its old ways, with the exception being the village's airship connection with Port Jeuno. Kazham's population is made up mostly of mithras, and the village is ruled by councils and a mithran chieftainess.
Points of Interest
- Ronta-Onta at J-9 gives the tuning fork to fight Ifrit Prime.
- Dodmos at J-9 warps summoners to a level 20-capped fight against Ifrit Prime.
- The auction house NPCs can be found around D-8.
- Eron-Tomaron at G-7 can change your title.
- Jakoh Wahcondalo at J-9 starts the quest Cloak and Dagger for the Dagger Weaponskill.
Map
The Map of the Elshimo regions, which includes Kazham, can be obtained from Promurouve in Lower Jeuno or Rusese in Upper Jeuno for 3,000 gil.

i found it hard 2 get back from yhoator jungle 2 gets 2 kazham i had the map but the jungles confuze me :S can any1 help me 4 the futuer? also i fell off the bridge near the HP 2 ;[ i looked like a rite weirdo

Someone told me that you could buy a pass for somwhere around 150,000 gil. When i tried trading it to the galka in the airship station it wouldnt take my cash ><. I was just wondering if the rate can change or something, and if it does, does anyone know??

If you are headed to Kazham, buy your maps in Jeuno. There are no places to buy maps in Kazham. I learned this one the hard way.

Theres a homepoint crystal at I-9, near Wahcondalo's Residence.
There is a guard just outside the city gate in the jungle. you can set homepoint there, unless the area is under beastman control.
Ok..it's been said that we can purchase a map of Kazahm in Jeuno. ques is where? I went to Chamber of Commerce in Lower Jeuno and they did not have that map. Where else should I check? any help would ne most appreciated.

No, it's Chamber of Commerce. It's part of Elshimo
region's set.

Try in Upper Jeuno. There is M&P's market by the zone to Battalia Downs. Just inside the door is a Taru (I think) that sells maps.
There's a path south of the auction huts that's blocked by a mithra. Anyone know what's down that path or how to get to it?

Just curious... there is a hut in Kazham called 'Mihgo's Residence', and there is a mithra wearing the fancy red cloak named Romaa Mihgo. All she says when you talk to her is "..."
Just wondering two things really. 1) Does she have any relation to Naana Mihgo of Windurst, and is she involved in any quests?
and 2) There is a 'shed' on the side of the Mihgo house(behind the rarab pen) and when you click it, the one mithra standing in front of the rarab pen entrance chides you for being nosy. What quest is that shed involved in?

What does Kazham look like? I can't see it cuz i can't install it ; ;
Kazham is part of the Rise of the Zilart expansion - so if you're a US player it came with the game. You will need to register the content ID to enable the expansion before the areas are accessible.
Anyone know how Kazham fame is achieved? I've done the airship quest where you try to find the passenger quite a few times, and my fame in Jeuno, Bastok, Sandy, Selbina and Rabao is pretty high (enough to fight the lvl 20 Avatars). I just would like to know which region/nation affects your fame in Kazham.

I need to know plz where can i find the 3 keys for Kazham and to get this keys do i have to get a quest? where is it?. Do i have to get the quest to start getting them? or I can get them and then get the quest and finish it at the same time because i have the keys. Please need help with this.

ok wen i finally arrived in kazham i was like 'so where do u get maps from?' and i was told 'Jeuno'. why sell maps if one city in another? its crazy!
On talking to Pula Rhatti here (Mithra child near where the airship lands) she asked me if i had brought a Sandfish (written in green) from the mainland, and if i had to show it to Mhebi Juhbily.
Well i smelt a quest so I went and got me a Sandfish and traded it to her..she said something along the lines of "Hey! a sandfish! i love those things!"..and that was it. When talking to her again she said her regular "Go away and let me sulk in peace." thing.
So what i'm asking is.. is there actually a quest here, or are Square-Enix trying to play with my mind again? O_o
Edit: I did some research on other sites, and it's a quest! It is called "You call that a knife?" and I have submitted it ^^

you can't buy a map in kazham, but i'm pretty sure you can buy one in jeuno. i hope this helps
there is something like a residential area there is a stand with a nomad moogle who will allow you to change jobs,take things in and out of your mog safe and let you check your deliver box
Yes,nomad moogle is at I-10 on the map , by pakhrob's and mihgo's residence.

If he dont ask u to get him the keys or the 140k try registrering the expanstion if u havent or install the expantion if u havent
I think the rank dosen't matter, I saw a lvl 28 there with rank 1 in my party in the jungle, I guess it dosen't matter.
Rank is helpful in the game, but is not specifically required to get to any zones as far as I know, besides some areas within the 'capitol' parts of the major cities (Sandy castle, Heaven's Tower in Windy, etc) that are used for lower rank missions.
Rank does:
- allow you to purchase more items with conquest points
- increase the duration of your Signet by 1 hour per rank above 1
- allow you to get a free airship pass at Rank 5 (the main airship pass that goes between the major cities and Jeuno)
- tell other players that you have more experience in the game than just PT playing (helps a lot with PT invites, as a PT needing a BLM will pick a Rank 4 over a Rank 1 _any_ day)
