don't buy these at the AH..it's a complete rip off...the AH on Hades charge 8k for this...when you can just get them at the fishing guild for about 600...
What does it catch

With a Worm Lure I catch Monke-Onke (skills 36-51) in the lake of east saru. They go for about 600 gils at the merchand and about 850 at the fishing guild.
Buy your Worm lure at the fishing guild, they're cheaper than the AH - on gilgamesh.

tried raising goldsmithing from 29 today. no skill-ups for gold, but lots for alchemy :/ (alchemy was 42 when i started). so whatever the cap is for gold, it appears to be under 29.
No Skill?

I made 12 attempts at this with lvl 32 goldsmithing.

Results are 10 successes and a big goose egg on the skill ups! I don't know why, but while this item may require goldsmith to make, it doesn't seem to give me any skill up.

I have 60 alchemy for the record.

I made 7 more and still no skill ups.

I looked at shrimp lure and it's skill caps at about 21 and it's made with a silver ingot.

The skill cap for these is probably below 21 Goldsmith.

I may try to make a few of these myself. The rumor is that a HQ3 on these nets you a LIZARD LURE. Its posted on this site its about halfway down the page. Lizard lure is selling for buko gil on my server might be worth a shot. As far the the goldsmithing skill needed listed I dont believe it since around 10 since thats the cap for Brass ingots.

Then what else would have caused him to have his arteries clogged? My guess is fat..... oh wait he's dr. Atkins so he cant get fat eating nothing but steak and grizzle. Maybe you should open your open your mind again...

We need to start listing what can be caught with each bait. Anyone have a clue what this catches?

I agree I have 25 goldsmithing and did not gain on any of my six attempts at making this.
