Only saying that cause there was once a Corsairs Hat.
Fixed recipe. (changed Flax Cloth to Linen Cloth)
Changed the cap from 85 to 74. =\
Okay. I hadn't looked up these pants. I just bought them because of the CHR. Every so often, I'd notice my MP shoot up 40mp for a while then drop back down.
My linkshell, friends, and even husband had convinced me that I was just unintentionally putting on my electrum rings. Until today. I forgot my electrums and went to raise someone I was duoing with and had 165mp. When I got there, it was at 125. I finally decided to look up each peice of armor. Sure enough, this damn hidden effect is what kept confusing me! LOL

The hidden effect is actually:
Night: Converts 20 HP to MP.
Day: Converts 20 MP to HP.
And, yes, that does matter. Because to convert, you actually have to have MP/HP.
Test it out. Wear them, then sub a job with no natural MP and take off your MP gear. You will gain no HP in the day, and have 20 MP at night.

I'm currently at Bonecraft 67.6 and the advanced support guild leader lists this item for me to craft. It's certainly lower than Bonecraft 85, probably around 75 cap and secondly it also has a Leatherworking subrequirement that is not listed her.
Also, the ingredients are off. This is what she lists for me:
1 x Square of linen cloth
1 x Coral fragment
1 x Lindwurm skin
Perhaps there is another synth for this that uses other ingredients which caps later. We've seen that before in other crafts. But what I have listed above is definitely valid.

I don't know what every one's problem is. At least this subligar seems to have leg-things kind of like the bone subligar. i'm a galka, and I woulnd't mind trying 'em on.

This really does seem like a great item for BST and BRD alike, and it looks damned good on a female character. Only saw one and it was on a female, the male I'm sure looks as ugly as other pantsless subligars.
Besides, the level 72 items are hard to come by, so having something like this with nice defense and a CHR boost is nice until then.

The key word here is clown, which are considered to more outgoing and talkitive, thus the +CHR.
Whatever you say, man. All I know is, the only clowns that would wear this kind of thing don't work in a circus. Though I'm sure there's plenty of people with whips there.

with the bard JSE available now @ 72, with better stats than this, and relic gear right around the corner, is this equipment kinda pointless? >.>

Getting from 70 to 72 probably takes a long time. Besides, level 75 Artifact 2 doesn't just fall into your lap :-)
Also, perhaps BST and BRD would find this useful for Genkai 5.

Not only are subligars and clowns scary, but could you ever imagine a clown wearing subligar? I tell you, this adds a whole new element to the horror.
