Fenrir's Cape  

Of all the Fenrir's items, this one is by far the least useful. With the introduction of the Knightly Mantle, I personally can't see a PLD wearing this except for macroing in for provokes at night (kinda ridiculious, though - if you have to macro this in at night for hate, chances are, you're in bad shape during the day :D). Pretty much the same deal for WAR and NIN tanks (for them, its the Bat Cape or Amemit Mantle all the way). The other Fenrir items are amazing - they should really revamp this one.

EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it, giving it a base 10 Def along with the day and night traits would make it pretty amazing and a very nice option. 20 Def in day, 10 Def with +3 Enmity at night. Base 5 may be a little more fair, however, I do feel that S-E should add a base defense to this item.

only question is i hear the "during" effects or "when areea is under own nations control" effects sometimes don't kick-in unless un un-equip and re-equip, does that mean i'll have to do that every night and every day?

This seems like an awesome item for Paladin, getting defence or emnity? Both things we need.

id be willing to bet this can be gotten as an alternative to the fenrir avatar as a reward for defeating fenrir. not sure though.
