I've been using this for about a month now, and I'm about to retire it I think.
Bottom line: I only notice a difference of *drumroll* 7HP in my Cure V - no change at all in my other cures.
Now before anyone says anything, I am not saying +7 healing magic = +7HP for Cure V - I am convinced this is totally coincidental.

Ironicly, I just got this item. Put it on, went to town. My cure 5's, which I use to test really how well I am doing, did LESS curing with this on, then with a Promise Badge that only had +3 MND. Trying to resell this as I make this note.

I just bought this from AH for 30k and replaced my Holy Phial (I am WHM). Wondering which is better? Both the Healing Torque and Holy Phial were selling for 30k
Holy Phial: LVL23 Def:3 MP:+9 MND:+3
Healing Torque: LVL65 Water:+5 Healing Magic Skill:+7
Ive asked other WHM's this same question and almost everyone of them said the Holy Phial is better because of the +9MP. The thing I dont understand is how can a lvl23 neck peice be better then a lvl65 peice? Is there some kind of hidden effect for this Torque that someone knows about?

I think it wasn't cause of the +MP Issue, but the MND stats with the phial.

If you take look at the other equipment that offers Healing skill +

you will notice that stat is on high lvl L337 gear.
I am unsure how healing skill works, but i believe it would just raise your skill like it says. So if your skill isn't capped, this will raise it. May help with the high lvl cure spells that you don't have capped, to do maximum potency.
And on the Holy Phial, the MP+9 isn't the good stat, that only helps for 1 cure I. The good stat is the mind+ which accumulated with your other gear can make you break the cure's "caps" and cure for just a little bit more all the time.
Oh and, whm can't wear much for neck pieces that give deffence, so over all the Holy Phial is L337.
