Updated icon and added guild, desynthesis recipe, and guild level.
When you're meriting in parties, these are much better than Wizard's. I never worry about resists on experience mobs anymore, so that's when these gloves come in handy. I usually do +MAB/MP in meriting parties now.
As posted before, I usually only use Wizard's on high resist mobs where I need the +ELE magic skill to stay on top.

wizard's gloves gives +15 elemental magic...
i see the only reason to get this is for the MAB, which isn't very significant either, but it sure looks better than wizard's gloves

Seems that Zeneith Mitts would be better for a BLM than these...still very nice though and can be bought in AH!
Assuming you're not fighting something like Gods where you'll get a lot of resists, yeah. Elemental Magic Skill is pretty awesome when you are getting resisted. I'll get both and swap them out as needed.
