this is the longest quest for something i can buy for 150-200k on Remora. At 47 needing a new mantle i thought this would be cool to have but it has taken me almost all day to get to castle oztroja and get slaughtered by every yag in sight. bring some 75's along unless yoou are above 50 or whatever these things dont argo

OMG, this quest sucks ****, it took me about a day to get this ******* mantle, now i know why is that expensive. i went with a firend DRK Lv. 67 and PLD Lv. 60 (me). the quest is really easy but it's very very long.

If nobody has noticed Jaeger mantle is now called the Jaguar Mantle. Same stats nothing else changes.

I just recently bought one of these for 100k. I guess I got lucky, because it was the only one on the AH.
but its 200k on asura atm

I need one, I dont think Ill do the quest I think Ill just buy one on Migardsormr for 120k.
After wandering around the castle for a hour or so I finally found that damn bird, he's on that section of map where Mee deggi (the Otichuo's Kote NM) is, up on the ledge. I always wondered why this mantle cost so much, now I know. This quest is really long and boring.
I think it's the ATK people want it for, not the EVA. However, that's still about 30k worth of stats. ^_^;;;
Worth 150k... I don't think so. +1 evasion? This thing is laughable... 30k sounds fair.
Well since this is the best and only Back piece with Attack boosts until Behemoth and Amemit Mantles, I'd say it's worth every penny of 150k. The other mantles you can't even get til 60 and 61, so this piece will last you for 13 levels, not bad IMO. If you don't like the price, you can get one absolutely free by clicking the link for the quest and following the instructions.

For the uninitiated, `jaeger` translates to `hunter`(which is why Jaegermeister has a deer's head on the bottle; Jaegermeister = "Master Hunter").

You get this from doing the "For the Birds" quest in Oldton Movalpolis, the second quest you receive from Koblakiq. (She is located by the lake in Oldton)
is this an nm drop or bcnm drop or what?? havent been able to find out much info on this nice lil mantle
This is gained from a CoP quest I believe.
