Jongleur's Dagger
Does anyone know what drops this or is it crafted somehow?
Doesn't really matter to me since I just got the AF Knife 15 mins ago, but I saw this as I was selling my Corrosive Knife and wondered where it came from...
Started at 70k but now its all the way down to 8k on the Sylph server...

This knife is dropped in BCNM40, in the Qu'Bia Arena. Star Orb needed.
Need proof? Check out the dagger section in MysteryTour. You can find it under level 40 daggers, listed as being a drop.

I didn't complete BRD AF dagger quest, didn't have
monster signa, and i'd been using aspir knife since
Lv 12 !! This was only 5k on Bahamut Jeuno AH, so
it will do until I get AF and then signa.

Yes Aspir Knife is an EX item, but it is a guaranteed drop from a Eyy Mon the Ironbreaker (level 16) in giddeus (which spawns every 15 minutes or so). It's a very good dagger for a brd/whm or brd/rdm (below 25, after that they don't need to worry about mp).
i honestly think bard AF "weapon" should be an instrument. seriously... why isnt it? lol... could be a grand instrument of... grand... proportions...
BRD AF1 does more dmg & has better ability score bonuses, and even comes 2 lvls earlier! Not that BRDs should be meleeing at 40+ anyway :)
im level 45 BRD. i have two sets of two songs going and sing debuffs, backup cure as needed, and STILL have time to melee, thank you very much. >=( honestly, if you can do it and still be effective in your main role, why NOT melee? except, of course, for AoE monsters...
Because you do little damage and just manage to give the mob more TP.

Ha ha ... we all know how much that doesn't matter. Bard does very little damage, but every little bit helps. Your concern over mob TP attacks is misdirected. Bomb Toss and Sickle Slash aren't TP attacks. Stuff like the infamous "goblin poke" ARE. And most of them do very little damage. But if you don't want the mob to get the 5 tp you'll prolly give it, go next to the mages and type /sit like I do when we have to fight Antica. T_T But in my opinion, might as well do something useful when you're not singing, and go pound stuff!
Also ~~ this dagger is 10k ish on Asura. I don't know where it comes from, but the AF weapon is better :-/
