I have camped this item 2x, the first time I went something like 1/8... But I got to sandy and realized I couldnt open the quest -.-.... So I threw out the hotrok. Then this morning I find out my ls is going to kill some nm out in ulegerand range, so I go to sandy open the quest and decide to get the item before we leave and try the quest while up there, so I camp the item and get it 1/3, the first time I was 72WAR/SAM~ this time I was 75WAR/18THF.
suppost I was trying to finish Bastok Quest 'out of the depth', while hunting for treasure keys. Got bored and was reading this page, so I killed a mobline Ashman at K-10 at oldtown(the one standing on a platform between Brakobrik and Rakorok). Got this and a Moblium ignot the first try. ^_^ I am happy that at least I have achieved something at oldtown ... My party just obtained one off a Moblin Groundman in Movapolis. Caution -- although it was just a T at Lvl75, it seemed to hit quite a bit harder than the other T's around it.
Oops, clarification -- Groundman is a moblin in Newton Movapolis.

Agreed...1/15 on this. When the Hotrok finally dropped I got a Moblumin Ingot as well.
Not a tough kill for a 68BLM but he has a fair amount of HP and resists magic a little more than most due to Shell II.

It's for the map quest for Uluguerand Range, you trade it to a ??? for a cutscene + the map.
Yes you trade the moblin hotrok to a ??? at that new ice place north of xaracabard and you get a cutscene.

i was told that this is for the map of the new ice area place Ul<tab><enter> (no clue how to spell it) quest giver is in souther sanD, if anyone knows for sure please post
I've had one of these taking up inventory space for a while, time to scour Southern San'doria.
