Yea to the people who paid for a ticket to get a rod. At the event you had real life quest you went on and at the end you turned in your paper for chances to win other things and to get the moogle rod, chocobo wand and invite to fught the leaders of the nations<Which was way cool btw. So, I don't think those people who didn't attend got the rod....I hope not HE HE!
All I can say is Duel-wield: Moogle-Rod and Chocobo-rod ^^

Don't let em fool ya! The Moogle pie really is made out of Moogles! XD And the person that you give it to can be nice and trade it back to you if they already have one!
Some people must of been desperate if the only reason they paid $80 was to get the Moogle Rod because the festival was a blast even for us volunteers!
Alot of people didn't show up and I'd hate to think it was because they never planned on going to the Fan Festival in the first place!

I love my moogle rod! In case you didn't know, the Moogle Rod makes "kupo" noises when you beat things with it! Moogle Rod = TEH PWNXORZ!

I stand corrected and appreciate the feedback from my peers. Sorry I was so negative, but it seems very odd that SE only caters to one location for special events of this nature.
The Moogle Rod was a bonus to coming to the event.
The ticket was for the Event not for the moogle rod.
However people where stupid and bought a ticket just so they could have the Rod, regardless if they could go or not. Which is a kinda ***** thing to do. Those people you could say did RMT, but it wasn't SE's intention.
Getting the Rod was just extra incentive to go to the event, just like being able to play the new expansion and take part in a Q&A with the developers.

If you wanna be a jackass about it, then you should be accusing everyone who plays this game of RMT, considering that they have to pay $12+ every month for the oppurtunity to get gil and items.

I was in a PT in Bibiki Bay around level 66, when a JP WHM used it on our BLM. She tried to explain it in English, and from what we all got, it gave him a Moogle Pie; which gives you +50MP for 3 hours.
I prefer cookies, myself, but it would still have been nice to get this item.
