This can also be desynthed with a lightning crystal to yeild animal glue, poison potion, brass ingot or iron ingot.

I got this dagger in quifim yesterday i need desperatly a dagger beacuse my Sword skill was capped and i didnt want to go back to town because party was very good.
The question is:
How does the additional effect (poison) works. Is it only when i do critical hits? or do i have to cast poison for the dagger to enhance it etc..
I bought it for 3000 gil ona guy's bazzar. Was i ripped off?
I heard the platoon dagger is the best for lev 20 but you have to fight bcnm20 for it and im saving my seals. So which dagger would you reccomend for levs 20-25. Im a RDM so i use enspell on them to hit more, delay of course is a factor. What do you think. I would want this dagger to last even if itas a littl bit more expensive

Actually at level 20 one of the best daggers imo is the mercenary's dagger.
Damage: 11 Delay: 190 Accuracy: 2
Just my opinion but that delay and the dmg plus the bonus acc is a plus. It runs for 3000 cp (Rank 3, Windy), or about 5k on Diabolos.

The way it works is occasionally it will have the additional effect and will poison the mob. This would happen 1 time a battle for me usually...
Nah u wernt ripped off, i bought this for 5000 at AH (shiva). One more level and i switched to parrying knife.

but at lvl 20..who really cast poison..its no where near near as effective as a Decurian dagger
