Spike Necklace is a very good alternative (to those who keep pointing it out here) but any and all +ACC is nice to have for multi-hit weapon skills.
+STR is great to have for boosting damage but matters very little if you miss a swing...

I bought one of these for 20k on AH, i'm gonna use it untill C chain lvl.60
should i keep spike necklace or go w/ this?
i'm on carby, prices on this went from 200k before the holidays which was bad enough but affordable, to 400k+ in less than two weeks. this is absurd, whichever asshat has his this up in jueno AH for 400k i hope you eat the AH cost, and you come home to find your moogle all lubed up and modeling it for you on your millionaire's desk. DIE.
64+27 CHR as BST65. Why on earth would It be emnity. That would mean I have Emnity + 13.5... My pet would never be able to keep hate from me, making solo impossible.
The only thing that affects emnity, is Emnity+/- gear.
I'd hate to think how much hate a bard would get if CHR was emnity.

This lvl piece is up to 250k on Phoenix. I did a BCNM the other night and got a spirt torque and went to sell this piece then realized that it was better just to spell the torgue and keep this. I still use it as 67 ninja. There are prob better pieces for me at this lvl but I love being able to hit as elvaan! ^.^

i'm a lvl 55 SAM, should i get this or stick with my Spike Necklace (3 STR 3 DEX). i'm in the middle of upgrading a LOT of my equipment, and i could certainly use the STR and DEX since i'm getting an Enkalados Bracelets which have -4 DEX and AGI. I'm thinking i should worry about the STR and DEX more, since once i hit 59 i get Haubergeon then Amemit +1 at 61 so i'll have all the Attack and Accuracy i need there. Your advice?

I was looking threw some peoples Bazzars yesterday and this caught my eye(cause i had already had one that i got for free from a friend) in this one guys. I saw it for 50k+5k tax. I though whoa these were like 200k+ last i saw on the AH and then i asked my link if i should and they said yes because they were curently selling for 280-300k on Asura. Also i found a Nomad's Mantle for 30k+ 3k tax and they were selling for 100k. So all and all got mine for real cheap. Good day for profit 350k up ^^
Though I know nothing of any interviews or official releases, I have heard that higher dex also marginally increases your chances of a critical hit. I've talked to several melee jobs and they all agree that this seems to be the case.

No it's not, Square specificly stated that CHR has no effect on enmity.

this thing was 50k on my server, i was ready to sell my jujitsu gi for 210k(originally 80k), and buy a masters gi for 120k and that ryl collar. But the prices skyrocketed to 100k in a matter of 2 1 week -_-

If this were true, then +1 str or atk would give you +infinite str and atk

I hear 1 Attack = 2 STR and 1 Accuracy = 2 DEX. But I think it's 1 STR = 2 ATTK and 1 DEX = 2 ACCU. I also heard that you might be better off with STR and DEX overall, heard DEX grants better crits than ACCU. Then again, I am not certain, I need others to fill in on this.

Nooooooo. Evyerone from my ls gets this wrong. 2str=1atk, 2dex=1acc, 2agi=1racc, 2 vit=1def.

No No No! It's true that 2str=1attack & 2vit=1def, but it's just an old wives tale that 2dex=1acc and 2agl=1eva. Both of those are unproven, untested, and downright false. If you don't believe me, then believe this actual SE interview:

Well despite the interview you can test it out for yourself. 2DEX is 1 accuracy, or something really close. Shinwei from the MNK forum used 7acc to get a mob to be low evasion. Taking the acc off and equiping 14dex garnered the same result.
Edit: Also for some of the posters that posted the relationship of stats, it only works one way. Addng attack will not increase STR in any way. Attack is only good to surpase enemy defense, after you have done this, increasing attack will do nothing for your damage. Adding accuracy does not increase critical hit%. Etc.

Obviously the site has been updated since you asked this (hopefully anyway). Why would you like the tiger sole over the spike necklace though? I'd rather have STR+3 DEX+3 than attack+5 personally.

Tiger stole is 5 atk, 3str=1.5 atk, 3dex=1.5acc, if you want all atk, no acc, tiger sotle is the way to go. But I think Spike necklace is better for SAM.

STR and DEX do more than just add atk and acc...
