Got him Watersday @ 20:50, New Moon 5% with Drop.... :)

Saw it was 0% New Moon and remembered there was an alt to Haty (which I've failed to camp Haty). Decided to change to 18WAR/9MNK, tele'd to North Gustaberg, ran to Highlands. Started looking for him in G-8 but ended up in G-7. Found him standing off the roadway, unclaimed, killed him and got the drop. (G-7) Firesday 18:00 New Moon 0%.
Found him at G-8 on lightsday, 5% new moon.

Took me three hours, but I got him.
I marked out the areas he spawned according to Wiki and ran around inside that parameter.
The locations from Wiki:
(G-6)/(H-6)/(I-6)/(F-7)/(H-7)/(I-7)/(H-8)/(I-8)/(F-8)/(G-8)/(J-8)/(J-9)/(K-7)/ (E-8)/(F-6).
I found him at (I-8) 0% New Moon. Not sure what time... Wasn't long past 20:00, I know that.
Solod as a 30 THF/WAR.

I have been camping for this for quite a while now, about 6 hours total lookin for this guy and Haty, was usin ws and found him at J-7 and I am now a very happy boy. 4 swings with a GA and he was down.

So, i'm a new player, as of five days today, and on my second day (i'm only looking this up because the MOB pee'd in my tea so to speak) but I don't know what day?? or how to tell one day from another> > sorry. I just want to say I saw him in the highlands on my way to the dunes, and the ******* raped me good.

Type " /clock on " and it will show all the useful information about the day, including the moon phase.
New moon - 5% - Lightsday 21:09 @ f-8
popped between 17:00-17:15, 0% new moon (I left the crag at 17:00 on a bird, spamming widescan). found him in H-8, all the way south up against the mountain. wewt somethin to pull with on dnc.

Found Bendigeit about 3 minutes after i started looking. He was in I-8 New Moon 7%. Around 19:00 Went as DNC33/BST16. He maybe did 30 poins of DMG and then he was dead.
Killed this guy at I-8 SE of crag New Moon 10%. Second night of New Moon.
75 BST widescan wasn't enough to see him at telepoint.
Was camping this guy, Rampaging Ram, and Viking Shield NM while I was there. Went down to kill a tremor ram at around 19:00 and saw the NM there (on WS). Luckily I was going for the tremor ram too otherwise I woulda missed it ;x

For those hunting this guy, or Haty, don't lose hope if you don't see them for a while - They definitely don't always spawn at 18:00 or whatever time other undead do.
I don't know if they're even guaranteed to spawn, but then, they may easily be missable depending on how late into the night they show up.
Anyway, was standing around in the front of the Crag for me this time.
The previous two times I saw them, it was around F-5.

My LS mate does the typical >Found It< >t< on him and I'm a lvl 70 nin. Been wanting this just to have it for cap's or for your typical thf sub. Just to have, you know. And I'm like, sweet! So instead of changing the job to whm to tele myself, I saved time by just getting a quick Dem. I paid 5k to my tele'er, which was a blm and right as I did it, another shout for 1k for dem was sent out. He effing waited! Yeah, he waited. Omg, I was gonna shoot him. I'm just pissed for wasting 5k on this jerkoff. I got the claim and the drop of course, but, still! If anybody ever paid me 5k for a tele nowadays and said, "Go, go, go" I'd do it and come back for the 1k tele. Jesus h Christ.
Anyway, he was at E-9, right on the road waiting for any passerbyer. My friend was lvlin' Bst so, he couldn't kill. I dismounted choco and just started to attack, ***** Utsusemi. He did hit me both times he was allowed to attack, so, I'd imagine he'd be a pain for any low low lvl'er.

was on whm to tele saw this on choco killed as 39whm stoneskin blink 1 hit through bliunk 0 dmg. too weak i even had gimp club lvl. got drop lvl 15 rare/ex chakramoh yeah i was naked too

Killed this NM on (New Moon 2%) and "rogetsurin" dropped for me.
It was definitely at night... I was farming sheep skin and saw a cloud of darkness wondering on the main road around "the centre of the suggested spawn area". I disengaged my sheep to check it out.. tala! Bendigeit Vran !!
I was lvl35 thf subbing ninja. I wore nothing except mining gear and two daggers. Hope this helps..

well, i was on my way to hunt some worms to level my 9 RNG... and as soon as i zoned to the highlands, before any visible threats were even loaded, i was striken down to 18 HP... and then killed imediately after actually seeing my attacker.... apparently he doesn't just de-zone nor just walk away.... rather just aggro little helpless humes.... needless to say i DIDN'T kill him... and therefore didn't get the drop... in case you were wondering....

As I sit here and read through all these posts, my story is very similar to most. LoL
I was hunting tremor rams with my 30war/15rng, and pick up this guy on WideScan in G-7 @ 2350 on a 10% moon. I have hunted him before, just to add him to my total, but thought he only spawned by Crag. That's definitly not true. Anyways, got the drop. I'll use it when leveling my thf and nin.

I was choco'ing through Konschtat and saw this creepy-looking Shadow at G-8 standing by himself with no other mobs within sight during a thunderstorm. He was standing unclaimed right by the Windmill with the ??? needed for the
Past Perfect quest (Bastok). It was around 4:45 (game time) on Watersday with a new moon... seemed sort of late for undead to be around but I ran him over as a 32WAR/16MNK. No buffs, fight lasted about 5 or 6 swings and that was the end of it.

i didnt even realize it was him. it looked like just a normal person at first then i looked at his name and checked him. he took a little bit on my NIN18/WAR but i still got him and the item is great

so. i just got this baby. new moon 2% at like middle of the night.
i love it. if you and/or your helper are alone searching he shows easily in the g-6 h-6 i-6 area for me. if multiple groups are searching i could see claiming him as hard.

Found him at the east side of G5 on a new moon (2%) a bit before 18:00. As easy as you'd expect with 50RDM/1RNG :) He managed to hit me once during the fight for 5pts of damage.

I found this guy on my way to valkurm tonight as 16NIN/8WAR. at first I was hesitant to fight him because I didn't know if he dropped anything good, or how powerful he was. but it was quite an easy fight. didn't lay a scratch on me, even when shadows were down. took me a few minutes, but I managed to beat this guy, claim my Rogetsurin, and go party.

My Story is similar to this person's. But I get the reward for lowest level solo, I was omw to Bastok from Dunes on my 15DNC/7MNK when at (F-11) I saw a Fomor. At first I freaked out, and almost ran off, but after leveling Dancer you feel like you can solo anything. So with little hesitation I pulled out my Dagger (weak for Dancer at my level) and Drain Sambaed his ***** I had just gotten Curing Waltz too, so I was new to it all. It took me a while but when I killed him I had full Health! I didn't even know what he dropped but almost shat my pants when I saw this new Ranged Attack I could use. Afterwards I looked him up to see what the buzz was about. Turns out he has a rare spawn time, but a 100% drop, so I just happened to be in the right place at the right time I guess. I was so stoked I went on to solo a very tough Goblin in the same zone later, you cant stop this Samurai/Dancer >, <

killed him with 3 hits as thf67/rng13
Had it drop and well might have to sell it to vendor as it aint usefull for my thief anymore...
he was walking around close to left bottom side F-9 or so!
