Owned lol. No bracelets tho
Spotted Epilates while soloing on paladin 30 / dancer 15.
had 100 tp in the start, pulled him to the zone, cuse i was optimistic i would make it. had top of the line gear and food(boiled crayfish).
took about 10 mins, and when he used mitghy strikes i used my HR2.

Saw this guy whilst farming Giants for Gil as a 50 WAR / 6 THF (Yes 6, lol... Just wanted Gilfinder)
He agrod me whilst I was healing at 300hp. But took him down no trouble.
Got Gigas Bracelets, Gigas Socks and a Maple Shield.
Not great drops, but a nice bonus to the Gil I was farming. ^^

I spotted this guy while messing around as a 37 drk/war. I had him on the ropes until he used mighty strikes and my bloodybolts started missing like crazy. I went back as lvl 50 war/25 rng and owned him easily.

Got the spawn after one circulation of the round room, plus one more Gigas.
I was DRK38/MNK19 with good gear and Horror Voulge equipped, no food though. Started with max HP at 738. Used Sturmwind twice, Dodge, and Drain, drained for about 64hp a go, not brilliant.
Got him down to 1/10th hp but he offed me all the same.
Considering how horrendously easy the standard Gigas in the area are (they con as EP-- to EP to me) this guy must be a high end DC to a 38.
I'll try him again at 40 and definitely take him down.

Apparently he is immune/highly resistant to Sleep...it made for a bad opening on my part as I tried both Sleep and Sleep 2, with both being resisted. He popped in (I-8) after killing about 10 Gigas in the circular room. Pretty fast pop; I was expecting a longer wait.
It was odd because my opening Freeze (after the Sleep failures) hit him for 830 damage, but only took his life bar down about 1/3 of the way. Why are people claiming he only has about 700 HP?
The other move to watch out for is Fire Breath, as it hit me for about 150 damage.

Just took this guy a couple of minutes ago with friend i was 46 RNG he was 42 BLU it only took one of use but it was fun after beating him i rounded up the stuff he had about 700 HP because i did a barrage which hit him for 401 and he did a jet stream 250 then my 2 hits and his one hit totaled the rest.
its what i would call an NM just to see then kill, not something you would hunt or anything drops are bad lol like any one wants a Gigas Socks.

I used my Bst 46 and my wife went in as a Mnk 42 and we beat the crap outta this thing. Flower Pot Bill held his own for about 1/4 of the things life before the big goon used Mighty Strikes. Then we jumped in and killed it easy as all get out. It only dropped the socks but the spawn time was like, 15 mins. A fun and easy fight with little wait. What more could you want from a NM except for a challenge?

Gonna go solo him as a 41WAR/19NIN tomorrow, my sub is gimped for now, waiting for LS to catch up with it for pt.

The drops aren't all that great, but if you're farming gigas anyway, its a nice bonus. Bracelets are around 30-40k on the unicorn server.
I think any job can solo at 40+ (even whm). I've trio'd it at lvl 30.

woop woop me and a pt killed this guy today. we were all Lv23-24 and we didnt have any trouble
camped him while killing other gigas in round room for about an hour. popped at (I-8), solod him fairly easily at 41THF/NIN.
seemed immune to sleep bolts, they wouldnt work on him. i kept blasting him with acid and bloody bolts to keep myself alive and him weak.
i calculated it out, he hits a 41 Mithra THF for on average 30dmg per hit, crits at 60-80. any thf with levelled marksmanship could take him out, easily. has roughly 1500-1600HP
killed it in about 2 minutes. dropped socks, Maple Shield, and necklace. camping it again right now to check for recast time.

Just soloed this mob as a lvl 40war/20mnk, Hp = 832. No buffs, no food, but did start the fight with tp=150%. Immediately used TP for Armor break, Used Warcry and Dodge, and then about halfway through used Mighty Strikes just to be safe. Used Sturmwind once as well.
He used Strikes at the same time I did. His normal attacks gave me 30-40 dmg, and once he cast strikes he was taking off 40-70 pts a shot but nothing serious. I beat him with 455 hit points left.
Found him at I-8. He does spawn anywhere in that circular room on the first floor.

9k? Maybe you are thinking of Gigas Socks.
Bracelets are equippable, give 3 STR, and go from 30-50k on Fairy. I got mine just now, level SAM34/WAR17, took it out with a 60BLM linkmate.
With Meatkabobs and all my other STR gear I've got over 50 STR in total now, and I'm only a Manthra.

Me and my party beat this thing a few days ago. We were all levels 22-24 and it wasn't too hard, but not easy either.
And after all that I got some gigas socks that i sold for 3k ^^.

Me and a pt's took this thing down a few days ago, though as I can rember if it put up much of a fight in compairson to any of the other Giants in the first floor of the tower, Though I have to say in one way that this thing was tough since the pt was lvl 23-24 range... ;>.> got about 240exp from it to :P

where does he spawn, i have no idea!
went in DRK31 PLD30 PLD44, (PLD was lvlin Polearm so was hittin quite weak) an we saw it..thought, hell y not get it..got it an it was too easy...the PLD44 never got hit much so me (DRK31) an the PLD30 got all the hate...he was down in seconds,..Mighty Strikes did barely anythin to me an i had berserk, last resort an souleater up! All we got was the smelly socks...worth anythin?
PS. all of the above plus 300% TP with Hard Slash=Ownage! XD

Lvl 36/18 rng/thf with bloody bolts and it was a walk. He went down after picking off the others in the room first. BTW used acid bolts to lower his def from time to time.

WHM went afk without saying anything, puller asked if we should take it, I looked it up level 28-32, we're a full 25 party so I say sure...Got it to 40% life, it used mighty strikes during that time and me and the other blink tank didn't take much damage from it. We all had to zone because of the whm and didn't get to kill it, a level 64 rdm did instead. Killable by a party with utsusemi easily, although the 2hr was hitting for just over 100 damage on contact.
PS Was a French pt and the whm came back saying 'perdon, afk belle maman' whatever that means. Don't go afk without saying something guys seriously. Especially if you're the whm....lol.

Its Harder than LVL 28-32. We had 3 lvl 25 WAR, 2 lvl 26 WHM, and a lvl 24 RM. O Yhea we also had to 50+PLs and it took us 2 trys to kill it. MPK the first time. REVENGE the second. We got the socks and I won the lot, o well it was fun and my first NM kill.

hada taru whm lvl 22 a rng 24 a nin23 a blm 23 and thf 22 the thief says hes there and we decide to take him first time he went down without much of a fight just killed whm at the end and second time we fought him was as if he was out for revenge mostly wipped out our party was fun though
