i love soloing these as a 47 whm/thf (thf for treasure hunter, the doubled gil, etc..) i can get about 12 northern furs in about an hour and then the 100+ gil each drops ^^ so freaking fun to beat these things with my blessed hammer then watch as their hits do 0 damage..gotta love stoneskin ^^ as a whm i could safely solo these giants in qufim as low as 40..i wouldnt try anything lower unless you like resting every fight ><
Twice when we leveled in the lower tower we pulled a Lobber and I hope not again for a very long time. These things did major damage to our party and ko'd our tank (a paladin) twice and left us all with about half our hp. Im to the point I really dont like these things as they seem to do major damage to our party.

its weaker than the other gigas, sometimes stronger, so its a random lvl., most of the times it posed to me as a tough when i was a lvl. 25, then it posed to me when i was a lvl. 25 as an incred. monster, and once at the same lvl. it was a even match, at lvl. 30 it was usually a decent, or a easy prey, one time tough
