Took me 5 Rarabs to get my tail.

I went as my level 31 war/mnk and killed 1, and got drop first time ^^

it took me and 2 thf`s with TH2 to get a rabit tail from thies things. it took us 2 HOURS!!! there not easy to get trust me.

i dont think you were very lucky normally tail drops around every 3rd rabbit killed if killing during the right times of day
Hunted a few of these last night for the tail component of the Mhaura subjob quest. We were very fortunate to ahve assistance from some higher levels in our LS, and got the Robe and Dhamel Saliva very quickly.
The tails however, took a bit longer to find. The 50+ BLM helping us at one pointed rounded up 9 Hares. As they fell, only one tail dropped out of the bunch. So while these may the lowest in level of the mobs needed, it may also take longest to get. Unless of course, we simply weren;t lucky.
