I have spawned these things many times I know that there are 2 spawns per every type of berry one better then the other. I know the better one is usually the harder one aka first lvl berries are best traded to the basket by lizards. 2nd lvl is best by the rumble crawlers. 3rd lvl i have no idea i just traded 23 874's and got only 9 queen spawns so i dont know if matron is better or not at spawn rate. at the basket for just normal berries i traded 4 stacks and got 35 back 886's and traded that to get 23 of the 874's and then 9 864's it took me about 2 hours to do all that and I got Awd Goggie to spawn 7/9 times and his slow is wicked.

Reminds me of big slug on Futurama that makes Slurm.
I started with 5 stacks of normal rolanberries and popped Guardian Crawler 38 times so I got 3 stacks and 2 Rolaberry 881s. I then went to Drone Crawlers pop and spawned it 15 times giving me 1 stack and 3 Rolanberry 872s. I then went to Matron Crawler and Queen Crawlers and got 3 of each of them to pop, they only dropped the rolanberry 864s. Then I decided to go to Awd Goggie with these for fun and he (or she? I think its King Crawler though) and got Royal Jelly on each kill, as well as Silk Thread. So as far as I know none of these NMs has any special drops other than rolanberries and royal jelly. I did this as RDM73/BLM36 by the way and Awd Goggie was quite difficult to solo, while Queen and Matron were slightly stronger than Knight Crawlers.

the berry sells for 3,000g to an npc in selbina.. not really worth it, keep the berries from drone crawler (the second tier berry crawler) and sell those instead.
Its funny because most ppl go through all of that. You can get royal jelly off of bees in the nest i believe. I think I got 2 after killing 3 bees.

I have a Lower Jeuno quest where some tarutaru wants a new bowl. I went to Windurst's Culinarian's Guild like she asked to get it, but the Hume lady that agreed to give me a bowl only agreed if I reieved a Royal Jelly from the Queen Crawler in Crawler's Nest.
Not sure if the item is a key item, and (if that's the case) you don't list key items under what's dropped.. but I'm just throwing that on the table.
My highest job is 44, and everytime I get in a group for the Crawler's Nest, they're all too scared to try to fight it -_-

It is my understanding that the queen is the last stop in the rolanberry quest, you put a certin berry in each bowl, kill the mob, and get a upgradded berry out. Then you move to the next bowl.

Usually, if there aren't any good drops on the list, it normally means nobody has submitted a claim that they got ______ from it.It could drop more stuff, but nobody has bothered to tell the people who organize this website.

kinda wierd how a hella hard to beat and rare monster doesnt drop anything that great.
