Got all three done within 10 minutes. Im from Sandy, and so are alot of people from my LS. Got a group of Taru Red Mages and finished this. That makes 33 quests done in Sandy for me. Just gotta finish some more and then Ill be done more then 3/4'th of them. I only do quests when I get bored so as you can see I get bored fast lol.
I just did the set of three quest witha few others the other day, and out of them I was the only one who had enough fame to get this quest. I know for a fact that my fame is level 6 in SD. Not sure if this helps, but hopefully ^^
Easy way to do all 3 of these quickly is to find 6 people of the same race, and tell them to all change job into a war or something. You've got 6 people, thats one down, all the same race, two down, same job, ta-da.
How on earth do you know what your fame is in the form of a number?? You need fame 25? The only fame check in game gives you some corny statement about what people think of you. Where do you get the "25" from?
nothing at all to do with rank, im from bastok up to the emissary quest (rank 2) and lev 5 sandy fame and got this, repeating the honey quest seems more fun than repeating the bat wing quest and can be done for about the same amount they pay
When people refer to "rank" they are not referring to your rank for your country, but your rank of fame in that area. You get them by talking to NPCs inside the taverns. Here are what the NPCs tell you for the different tanks of fame: (I got this from playonline.com)
Locations of the three NPCs in each nation: Windurst: Windurst Waters (F-10) Zabirego-Hajigo Bastok: Port Bastok (E-6) Flaco San d'Oria: Southern San d'Oria (K-6) Namonutice
Some NPC lines on fame: 1 No one has heard of you. 2 You sound vaguely familiar. 3 People are beginning to notice you. 4 Your name is mentioned in conversation. 5 Your name comes up often and your reputation is growing. 6 Many people know your name. 7 Almost everybody knows your name. 8 Everyone has heard of you and your great deeds. 9 You are a hero to the people.
(Note: NPC speech changes slightly according to the area.)

I have this quest - lots of fame required (shouldn't really give a figure here since I'm from Bastok - but have done over 40 singles, and about 60 batwing repeats) He gave it to me right after I did Intermediate Teamwork. I havent finished it yet.
Quests are "fame" based, please stop spreading the "Need Rank X" rumor. I am not Rank 3, furthermore Im not even from San D'oria.. -_- Kimaya
i'm not sure about the rank part but i remember i was only rank 1 when i tried to get the quest. I still have it as current but i think finishing a lot of quest before that and increasing oyur fame will make you recieve the quest... i'll try to see if i can get a party of six and check if i can finish the quest...= ) good luck!
