Summary

Grounded fisherman Thierride is in search of a seasoning that will allow him to make the most mouth-watering bean dish in Vana'diel.

Walkthrough

A "prequel" to the quest Lufet's Lake Salt. In Southern San d'Oria, Thierride is located at (F-8) (The door next to where Taumila's Sundries is in the present.)

First collect 2 Lufet Salt, apparently only obtainable from River Crabs in West Ronfaure. Now head to Southern San d'Oria and talk to Thierride to receive the quest.

After you've received the quest, trade him a salt to to get the first cutscene. He'll ask you for a second salt, so trade that to him for the second cutscene. When the second cutscene has ended, zone and return to him for a third cutscene and your reward, an Angler's Cassoulet and the title "Seasoning Connoisseur".

After each Conquest tally you can return to Thierride to receive another Angler's Cassoulet, however remember that it is a rare/ex item, and therefore you can only carry one at a time.
