For Those of you who lost (Droped) the Skin of
well water, Speak with Andecia again and she will
say
"You've lost the skin of well water?"
"More skin of well water is readily available,
but the question is how to carry it...
I have no other waterskin to give you. That
last one I recieved from the late queen herself...
How about this: Take the waterskin from the
gravestone in the King Ranperre's Tomb, fill it
in southern San d'Oria, then take it back to the
tomb."
The well in south San d'Oria can be found at F-6 (bottem left corner).

I m a wht mage and i found it easy to do and no the tombstone dont move there is too locations and one of em is the tomb and one is the ??? that leads to lower level of tomb.

If you're going to do this quest, don't go as a WHM. For Some reason if you're a WHM the location of the tombstone changes from "Tombstone" to "???". And you can't trade with it. I went back as a DRK and finished this otherwise easy quest.

Isn't the item she gives you to trade the Well water? if so then i think i lost it. I think im gunna talk to her again and see if I can get a new one. I have a distilled water but it doesnt work. Unless I have to go through the ??? to get to a different tombstone then the one in above area. Dont think so though cuz the bats down there took 314 hp of me in one hit when I had like 100 hp.

I found the tombstone right in the middle of H-10 and I-10. (Phoenix server, 38BLM)

For me the 'tomestone' is in i-10, not h-10, and the target I have trade the waterskin to is NOT a "???" it's a tomestone with name 'tomestone' you get a tome guard's water skin after trading the wellwater to it.

maybe I was daydreaming,
but I think after patches accumulated to 1/30,
this tombstone can change its location for WHM (the harder place described in previous posts)
After I died in that ??? with 36 bats, I went back to the same h-10 spot, the tomb stone is there (with my BLM lv27...)...
that is just wrong... SquareEnix...

Ok just make sure you don't enter the ??? area via the white pad. I did, and got 2-shot at lvl 36 by a Funnel Bat. Considering not a single mob in the regular tomb agro's me that was quite the unpleasant surprise.

I'm having trouble with this quest. I went back to the tomb after I did the mission and the tombstone is no longer there. Now there is only a ??? that teleports you into the tomb itself. I tried trading with the ??? but no success. Is there any way for me to do this quest now?

This is really simply and easy. It should be rated higher mainly because it can be done while you do the King Ranperr's Tomb Mission (unavoidable).
You simply get the water from the NPC, you do not need to modify it or look for a well.
Go to King Ranperr's Tomb (if you have the map it's I-9 I believe).
His tomb is targetable. Simple trade the water with the tomb as if you would have with any other NPC. Boom, your done. Go back to the NPC that gave you the water and the quest is complete.
It's so simple mainly because you need to do the Mission #2. Mission 2 requires you to be there at night to kill bats untill you get a special drop. You'll be there for a bit. Might as well just trade with his tomb to earn the easiest 560 gil you have ever earned in the game.

At I-10, there is an exit to an outdoor area. At the centre of this outdoor area is the tombstone. Just follow the path, it leads to it.
Select the tombstone and "trade". You recieve the Well Water.
Go back to Andecia and trade the well water with her to get your gil.
The dungeon has lots of goblins that aggro. Best to get a group to get through it or follow higher level players as they clear the path.

retalk to the same NPC that gave you quest...she'll then ask if you want to accept the task and then give you the skin of well water.

There's a few wells in South San d'Oria, use one of them to get the well water.

I cant find the well water any where. Is it at the tomb or outside?

The tomb is in the maze like section you find after you go through the cave...it's towards the center..it's in I-10
