SummaryYou have been given the chance to study the grimoire used by the famous Schultz School of Martial Theory. Your first task is to bring Erlene twelve sheets of Vellum. WalkthroughNote: To start this quest, you must be at least level 30 and have Wings of the Goddess installed. Before you start this quest, buy 12 sheets of Vellum to save time. You must complete the quest as a RDM, BLU, SMN, or BLM, because you will need to use one of those jobs' two-hour abilities. Go to Batallia Downs (S) from the Cavernous Maw in Batallia Downs, which is located at (H-5). Make your way to the entrance of Eldieme Necropolis (S) at (J-10). Once in the Necropolis, seek out Erlene at (J-8) and talk to her for a cutscene. Once it's done, simply trade her the stack of Vellum for another cutscene. After this next cutscene, you have to activate Chainspell, Azure Lore, Astral Flow, or Manafont and talk to Erlene while the job ability is active. You will receive the key item: Grimoire. Congrats!
