SummaryThe Mithra Mercenaries have set out towards Fort Karugo-Narugo to hunt down the Yagudo. You find yourself headed to the same destination in search of the impetuous young Ajido-Marujido... WalkthroughSpeak to Dhea Prandoleh after completing the quest "The Tigress Stirs" to begin this quest. Next, head over to Fort Karugo-Narugo (S) and enter through the Granite Gate (which should never be taken for granite) at (F-10). Once there, find Rotih Moalghett at (I-8) and speak to him for another cutscene. Head back to the first map and go to (I-9). There should be a ??? there you can examine for a cutscene. After the cutscene, prepare yourself as clicking it again will spawn the NM War Lynx. Defeat him and click the ??? for another cutscene. I thought I could handle this easy as a 81 RDM/WHM but this War Lynx has a nasty move "Blink of Peril". Hit me for 914 hp, had only 28 hp left. It doesn't hit very well with normal attacks, lots of misses. Fight went easy just watch this move, get some decent HP and/or defense.

Went as pup/sch no sublimation up & only about 100mp, blm pet was at full rest. It went pretty fast, I drained x2 and 2 cure3's, let my pet tank a little even after its 1st nuke, which went for 1677dmg. Lynx was hitting my pet for over 100dmg, but it missed on every other swing-- I had Smokescreen on. No pet death. It used Blink of Peril on my pet for 575 dmg, but pet just drained and was good to go. I WS and got hate back w/out having to ventriloquy. It petrified me and then missed me 3 times, yet I was swinging again b4 pet had time to do another nuke this time for 1100 dmg. Pet took 1 hit when hate traded to it after this second nuke, I did a cure3 and got hate back. Pet finished it with a water3. No 2hr & no merited ja's needed. I did not plan this, or would have gone /nin or something besides /sch, but the drains were good & doing better than the cure3's for 250, so altogether I restored @900 hp, plus the pet and I Eva'd our way through it pretty well.

Just got finished soloing this as a 71RDM/BLM, it took a long *** time but the key was fighting it just like Maat, i pulled it to an empty corridor and just hit it with <Gravity> and then <Fire III> then <Bind> then <Aero III> then <Sleep II>. rested up, rinse and repeat until dead.

Solo'd this as BLU75/NIN37 wasn't too bad of a fight. The throat type stab move sux. I got hit with head butt, ni, magic fruit, and then finished it off. Wasn't too bad but finished fight with 100+hp and only 50+ mp.
I was doing very excellent as a rdm/smn using barstone, barepetrify phalanx + shining ruby (double phalanx for the win) ss and blink up and got down to 10% hp, when it decided itwas time for me to die, it did the bring you down to 1% attack well ss ate a good bit of it leaving me with 300 hp still p-p, but he did it off the bat again leaving me with 3, note to self chain spell next time

This goes without saying but, Its a ridiculously easy summoner solo fight lol.
Only thing to watch for is, if your not familiar with the Coeurl class of monsters, that they tend to run faster than a normal mob, so standing just outside of seeing your carbuncle's HP vision range isn't far enough(unless you have blink and stoneskin up, but even then that wont last you if your carby soloing). Last 20% or something i used Garuda with a 1.5k Pred claw to finish the job, like pie! yum.

I thought i would add something for those thinking of soloing the war lynx.He uses a throat stab[equivalent] move that pretty much takes you down to 1 hp or close to it.So it would be extremely lucky or hard to solo this thing,depending on the job your using.

Ok, so all day i've been running around Windhurst Waters[S] doing quests, and have been dying to try the NM to get my Star Globe.... Well, i did some reasearch, found out it's Weak to Earth, trecked to I-9, and tried soloing as a 65rdm/whm. needless to say, 5 minutes into the fight i still had only done about 10% damage, and it wasn't looking to well, so i warped out at 130hp. No Death! woo! But i'm gonna come back when i'm 75 rdm and try to solo this unless i can get some help on Titan server. send /tell if you're interested and have the Prerequisates: The Tigress Stirs completed to Siiren. :'( i really wanted this big Eye soar to put in my mog house too. GL all.

forgot to mention I am a tarutaru and I also converted in the battle too, so i went through about 2500 mp just trying to keep Stoneskin up.

He's very difficult to kill as a RDM w/o a ninja sub. I tried it as 74RDM/37BLM and couldn't do it. Had him down to 27% life and was out of hp and mp. Forgot I had that hi-elixir from that other quest, but still might not have survived. I was able to warp out with about 20 HP left. Got a 75WAR/NIN to come back and help me with him and he raped it.
Not too difficult to solo as SAM75.
