Summary

Squire Altennia has been captured by Orcs, and is being held at their encampment in southern Jugner Forest. Rescue her before it's too late!

Walkthrough

Start this quest by heading to Southern San d'Oria {S} and speaking to Rholont at E-7. Doing this should activate a cutscene.

Once you get this cutscene, you will have to head to Jugner Forest (S) for a fight. Bring a couple of friends for this one, though the fight isn't too tough for a few lv75s to handle. Zone into Jugner (S) either by teleporting to the outpost or by the White Mage spell Recall-Jugner. Head over to H-10 and find the ???. Speaking to it once will activate the cutscene. Talking to it again will summon a NM.

NM Fight

Clicking on the ??? will spawn Cobraclaw Buchzvotch. This monster is a monk type but luckily doesn't use his two hour. He does have one ability called Tornado Edge which lowers max HP, MP, and TP. This can be remedied with Erase easily. Also keep in mind that there will be Decrepit Gnoles roaming the area that will aggro during the fight. You will need to get rid of those first.

Quest Completion

After defeating the NM, talk to the ??? again for a cutscene. Once it's over, return to Rholont for the last cutscene and your reward which is a Military Scrip. The Military Scrip can be given to Wyatt which will reward you with 20,147 gil.

I solo'd this very easily as a PLD/DNC. I presume any good DD/DNC can take this quite easily. I stayed under the bridge and everything went nice and smooth. He has a knockback attack which kept pushing me away from the bridge. Around 40% hp I aggrod a gnole by being too close. I stayed alive by using my healing waltz. Once I defeated the NM, I shield bashed the gnole and had enough time to click on the ??? for CS. By the time CS was over, the gnole despawned. Aside from the gnole, this fight would have taken me about 5 mins.

PSG had this right if you fight under the platform you avoid unwanted attention
I solo'd this fight as 75 sam/nin fight lasted less than 2 min in fairness I did 2 hr for light chain went in with 300tp as well and had meditate ready I think I shocked it to death prolly hit me twice
Just solo'd

Even though it says take a couple of buddies with you, I was able to take him down solo as a 75 PLD/WHM. Took about 15-20 minutes to fully solo and ended the fight with 792hp and 114mp left. Did it wearing full tank gear.

If you fight underneath the platform where the Orcish Bowshooter is, you can avoid getting aggro from the gnoles and the Orc above. I never got hit with the cut to max hp, mp, or tp from Tornado Edge, whether it's because it doesn't do that anymore or because I resisted it I'm not too sure.

Pretty easy fight. Did this solo 75Thf/37Dnc, just built up tp 300% on Decrep Gnole. Little long this way, either way, its done now.
