Max HP Down (FFXI)  

Analysis

Max HP Down is a harmful status effect that lowers a character's HP until it wears off or is removed. Example - a character with 500/500 HP could be reduced to 200/200 HP.

How to remove the effect

• Erase removes the effect.
• Dancer's Healing Waltz removes the effect.

Once removed, HP does not return to the character's original maximum (e.g. the above example would end up at 200/500 HP after removal).

How the effect is inflicted/gained

Monster Abilities

• Orcs - Tornado Edge
• Rams - Great Bleat
• Slugs - Purulent Ooze
