Captain's Log we communicated with Admiral Quinn and we received the following mission: Defend the Imaga system from the Klingons. Your Rank must be at least LC 3 to receive full credit from this Mission.

Supplemental Log

There are Disruptor Beam Turrets and Disruptor Cannons peppered throughout the asteroid ring around the planet, and hiding among them are groups of Birds of Prey and other Klingon ships. The trick is to pick off the ships while staying out of the range of the turrets. Try getting just close enough to draw the fire from the ships, then run outside the ring where you can fight them without worrying about straying into the range of the gun emplacements.

BTW, killing the guns does not contribute to updating the mission, so better to just avoid them if you can.
