If you Rank in the top 100 of all Valor points on the server, you get a number of Lottery Chances. That is, you get to spin the Valor Lottery for cash and prizes! Th number of Lottery Chances you have available is displayed on the Valor icon in green in the lower-right corner.

Once you drop below the Top 100, or if you did not get working on day one for a new server, it is nearly impossible to get back in without spending copious amounts of Electrum. This is, undoubtedly, a design intention.

Valor also increases your Attack Speed. This is a direct gain as your Valor increases and is not linked to your Rank (which can go up and down).

Attack Speed increases, Lottery Chances and Wisp leveling is awarded at Midnight, server time, when the daily rankings are determined.

Wisp

You can see a players Wisp, just above their right shoulder.

Upon reaching 1000 Valor a Lvl 1 Wisp will be drawn to you. Your Wisp adds to your Health and Steam. This boost increases as you gain more Valor and your Wisp levels up.
